The river cruise was a unique experience. The river was nice Im a bit of a nature lover so the place was great. The food was on average.

Buffet on board was average but eating on a cruise was a cool experience. Plus the view was relaxing and the choir (singing kids) at the end of the cruise was really nice... Would love to do it all again with families

Loboc river is so beautiful, peaceful and so clean. The food served on the cruise is okay, but you can't have seconds on the drinks you have to pay extra, and there are entertainers on board. I think it's best to enjoy the cruise with the nature's sound only, the gentle rush of the water and the birds nearby. Midway... More

The river is so breathtaking! The river flows through a valley, with dense forests and local houses on either side and the sound of crickets calling. The music/singer on the cruise boat is frankly quite disturbing in the middle of the forest. Food is okay, as everywhere else in Philippines. I found it more pleasant to kayak by myself on... More

We did this cruise as part of a day tour of Bohol. It was a fun and scenic tour. The entertainment on board was a bit cheesy but we sang along to the songs being sung. The food was average but there was a variety from seafood to chicken and salads. Fruit was also served for dessert. Enjoyed the cruise... More

Just read the rest of the comments as to why it's overpriced. I don't like the idea of stopping by the Ati tribe for some entertainment and photo-op. Whose idea was it? To the local authorities, enough of this tackiness. Please provide education and sustainable livelihood to the Atis instead. All ranting aside, I fell in love with the Loboc... More

500php for normal buffet and 600php for the 'special' buffet. Food is poor for the price, and you go on a 'cruise' after lunch and to some native village. Tackiness on the next level. Save your money, go visit the tarsiers and butterflies instead.

When we hear of river cruise, sounds like a unique experience so we're always excited and very willing to try it. So we tried it!! But all this excitement turned into disappointment. Aside from its overpriced fee, the food was completely unsatisfying. Crabs were too small and soup wasn't that hot. For a buffet type, the drink is also limited!... More

The meal cost is really overpriced whereas the items are quite poor. However, The trip overall is a must when you in Bohol. You can either enjoy food and live music when the boat cruising along Loboc river giving you the spectacular view along the banks of activities of the local living nearby. The boat will stop at a "singing... More

But maybe it's because I'm fond of water. I rode the Busai Monark (from Loboc not Loay) which I think is the best boat on that river. It has a nice viewing deck which makes you appreciate the experience more. Go on that viewing deck in front of the boat (away from the singer and the driver). The scenery that... More
