We had the pleasure of taking 2 different tours with Nicolas while we were in Burgundy. His understanding of the history, people and viticulture areas is impressive. Nicolas is easy to get along with and very accommodating, adjusting the tour to fit your needs. We now have a better understanding of the wines from this region and will visit again.... more

Small personalised tour group, 3 people in total. Our tourguide/driver, Nicolas had a wonderful sense of humour, good knowledge of the Burgundy region and it's wine. He knew the local winemakers well, so we got to see their 250 year old private cellars which was a treat! more

We were lucky because there was no other people in the tour. So, the guide man kindly gave us discretion wherever we would go. He was very friendly and has deep understanding in wines and vineyards. We bought some wines at the wine shop in the village near clos de vougeot. Choice was only limited to a certain brand. But... more

Well, of course we didn't learn ALL there is to know, but if anyone could help a layperson understand the intricacies of growing wine in Burgundy, Nicolas is your man. This was definately one of the highlights of our travelling in France! Our day trip consisted of a personal guided tour through ‘Abbey De Fontenay’ and ‘Flavigny-sur-Ozerain’. Both were very amazing places to visit! Our private tour guide 'Nicolas' was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone! more

It was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Excellent transportation, comfortable van, knowledgeble information provided by a charming tour guide. A nice blend of history and modern day. Truly wonderful; and, quite importantly, I should mention that the country side is gorgeous! more
