We visited in September when it was not overly busy. Amazing feathery stalactites cover the ceilings, a treasure trove of formations surround the visitor. A memorable experience.

Our family of 4 visited these caves this morning at the recommendation of the owners of the gîte we rented. Fabulous experience! Compared to everything else we have done as tourists in the area, there were no line-ups first thing in the morning and only few people in our tour group. This is by far the best caves we have ever visited and we have seen a lot over the years! It was so unspoilt, no tacky lighting or gimics, just the wonderful caves. My Mother is 86 and it was difficult but not impossible to see everything, she just loved it.

Hidden away in the hillside behind Le Buisson, the two caves contain magnificent crystalline ceilings in which the crystals grow, not just upwards (stalagmites) or downwards (stalactites)... More
