Head for the port. It is worth the few euros parking fee. It's a busy little place with lots of boat trips and jet ski rides on offer. A lovely selection of cafes and eateries here you can while away the time people watching and the boats toing and froing. All under the huge coastal cliffs. There is also a... More

Book a chartered water excursion. You'll manage great pics of the cliffs from the sea. Recommend taking a good camera cause you'll be able to get great shots of whales and dolphins as well.

Wonderful walk along the coast from puerto santiago. Awesome views. Very steep hill down to the harbour which is an interesting spot for lunch or coffee. A few boutique type shops with local crafts for sale.

The seacliffs of Los Gigantes are truly a magnificent sight to behold, especially in early evening as the sun starts to set and a myriad of greenish and greyish hues reflect off these monoliths! The resort itself is a clean, picturesque place, although a tad quiet at night, with, when we went(27th Jan-5th Feb'15)not a lot of night life to choose from.We saw an average... More

These are apparently some of the highest sea cliffs in the world and are certainly spectacular. The difficulty is that there is no reference feature to give a true picture of how high they are - 500 metres in places.

The Los Gigantes are beautiful. We visited after some bad weather which made the normally brown cliffs beautifully green. The habour made the view amazing and the children loved feeding the fish in the habour - so take some bread with you!!

Very attractive coastline which is best seen from a boat. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, however, like the rest of Tenerife, they're blighted by the PRs, enticing you in wherever you are. I know when I'm hungry or thirsty and I can read a menu, so please, leave me alone.

This place has been developed around the tourist industry which feeds into the local economy. It is over developed now and alhough the centre is still attractive and well kept and cared for it is bustling with holiday makers, who seem to be there for the duration. There are many, many retired folk who probably want the winter sun. The... More
