Three acres of beautiful well designed gardens packed with plants and maintained to an impeccable standard. Inspiring colour schemes and topiary to make you smile. If you only visit one garden in the Cotswolds make it this one - it is better, in my opinion, than any other we have seen(including Hidcote). The gardens are more than worth the entrance... More

A formal garden with deep relaxed borders and quirky touches . I was not expecting such colour and variety in truth , it was the end of our hoilday and we had visited most places on your average tourist list , so it was a glorious surprise . I would highly recommend it . Its not as large as some... More

Bourton House Garden may not be one of the largest gardens in the Cotswolds, of which there are a few, but it is beautifully maintained with lots of interest for a plantsman. We visited when it was very quiet so we enjoyed wandering around without crowds of people. The tithe barn serves refreshments which we had under the trees outdoors,... More

Beautifully kept, not too big, great afternoon tea, plenty of places to sit. Took lots of ideas away. Nothing we didn't like

This was our first visit to this garden and we were delighted by it . I liked it much better than Hidcote. It was perfect, lovely weather, quiet . very well kept, interesting topiary shapes .not a novelty animal clipped in sight. There was a nice small café in the Tithe barn and a beautiful place to eat al fresco.... More

Immaculately kept, exciting design with topiary shapes and patterns to inspire you to sharpen your shears. Many unusual tropical plants. Well worth a visit.

We visited as part of a pre-booked party and were privileged to be welcomed by the head gardener who gave us an excellent introduction to the garden, we were also able to see some of the garden before it opened officially to the general public for the day. The garden is very different to most gardens we have visited, it... More

We visited for an art exhibition by the wonderful local artist, Ann Blockley, in the Tithe Barn, so didn't pay for the gardens. Whilst I am sure the gardens are excellent, I would recommend a visit to any exhibition or event here as the Tithe Barn is the most beautiful building to walk around. Beautifully lit, cathedral like in its... More

These are gorgeous gardens set around a beautiful old house. Everything is incredibly well maintained - not a weed in sight - apart from 1 growing out of the chimney high up on the roof! The Head Gardener has a brilliant sense of humour and was very friendly and helpful. We were so impressed with the imaginative topiary and immaculate... More

This is an attractive small garden but worth a visit for enthusiasts. I rated it as average because the tearooms and shop were not open as advertised.
