Carlo hauner, designer and painter from brescia who trasplanted himself to the eolian islands in the 60s, was the creator of the agricoltural firm that carries his name. Hauner winery springs up in the eighties in lingua, built in aeolian style and equipped with a modern refrigeration installation and stainless casks which are stacked side by side with oak barrels used for aging wines. Visit the winery and taste the famous wines from april to november.

I was lucky to go in Hauner's factory just at the beginning of a guided tour (held by the owner's son). It was extremely interesting understanding the passion under this wine laboratory. The tour is also a great oportunity for buying at a convenient price Hauner's products. We bought some Malvasia and found it just awesome. Recommended for those spending... More

If I say that their malvasia is fantastic -and I hardly like wine,- that surely must mean something! We visited in September, and were offered a tour around their facilities by Andrea.
