A lot of the interactive stuff is broken. The time travellers display upstairs was ok, but not brilliant. It was absolutely freezing in the cinema. Needs to have curators or worker about keeping an eye on the exhibits, talking about things and generally being helpful. I was a bit sorry that I'd hyped it for the kids as we were... More

I wonder how long the CRT in the "Space Pod" has been U/S…. The remaining blurry screens were well on their way out… Cardboard cut outs and non operational buttons and lights really don't cut the mustard. Sorry The highlight of the visit was the non audible fire alarm that had us all outside for five mins before it was... More

very little interactive, all rather staid. Just £2 discount for disabled daughter, who due to epilepsy could not risk the lights of planetarium or the simulator.

Really good fun, informative place and good value for money. Combining it with the ferry crossing and the U-boat story it was a great family day out.

Visited today with my son who was excited to go , got there with ease and great directions but place is very dated and considering they go all out on the website I thought inside would have been great. Visited the toilets and they absolutely stunk like stale wee. Exhibits are very very dated maybe making it more kid friendly... More

We went here on Saturday 17th January 2015. Paid the ticket price for family ticket to this and the ferry. £33.50 fair price. Went on the ferry first then back to Spaceport. The staff were helpful and friendly. The exhibitions downstairs are dedicated to space and while informative are tired and need updating. The exhibition upstairs is for sci fi... More

Not the best of attractions I have been to in my eyes... The sculptures and replica models are quite tacky and quite unrealistic. Im guessing this place is mainly just for the kids, not enough interactive displays and did get very boring. Spending £9 each just for this was a waste of money and even if it was free I... More

We visited here on 29 December 2014 with two boys aged 7 & 8. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The three highlights of the attraction were all excellent i.e the entrance which felt like entering a real space ship a la Star Trek, the film in the planetarium ceiling which was not about stars at all - but about astronauts,... I was very excited to visit, but did not find it good value for money. It was very disorganised and not enough interactive displays.
