I recently visited here on a school trip. I was very impressed with the place. There is a big space auditorium with reclining seats. Downstairs there is also a space exhibition with lots of interactive activities to do. Upstairs there is an excellent Dr Who exhibition with the most lifelike Tom Baker model I've ever seen! There is also a... More

We visited this when we were staying in Liverpool. Couldn't believe how quiet it was. My two boys aged 7 and 9 had a lot of fun and were interested in all the information on the different planets. Lots of interactive models and a great ride on a space ship simulator. The robot exhibition was great and I was the... More

Visited Spaceport on 23/10/14 to see if it was a good place to take 4 of grandchildren during half term. (Ages 4 to 9) They will be amazed by it. To start you go onto the launch pad, then the door opens and you walk into the solar system area. There are many amazing facts to learn. The film in... More

We went to the Spaceport as part of the Merseyside ferries offer, this was a trip for my sons birthday. He loves all things space, but we left feeling a little bit disappointed. The lower section has plenty of information about the solar system but the upstairs section was very plastic and disappointing. There is also no cafe for food... More

Hi, thank you for your comments about Spaceport, we will feed these back to operational staff. There is a cafe in the Seacombe ferry terminal building, just a couple of minutes walk from Spaceport. We visited here from a package Mersey ferry tour, but found it to be disappointing. There were lots of interactive stations to teach about the solor system the sun, the moon and the stars . But I was disappointed in the Si fi section. This area looked very plastic and the costumes which were supposed to be from historical TV... More

Visited here with youngest son, he loved the place and we have been back since! The Doctor who display and the Wallace and Grommit display were really good! Very interactive, with enough to keep the little ones amused. Well worth a visit.

I was expecting a bit more a lot of the items weren't functioning so were a waste of time. One lady was really disappointed after raving about her visit 3-4 years ago to her 3 grandchildren there were no highlights and she spent less than 1/2 a hour there

My family (2 adults, 2 young boys) had been in 2010 and thought it was excellent. Since then, it seems, nothing has been spent on the attraction. Around half of the interactive exhibits no longer interacted, the visuals of anything audiovisual had faded, and the special effects in the wormhole were non-existent. What a let down. I felt very sorry... More
