Free parking right outside was a good start. Helpful staff and a good show . We stayed for almost 2 hours and loved the exhibits, interactive features and the planetarium show. Educational if you take children and with lots of play areas for younger ones. No cafe on site but a vending area with snacks and drinks and seating. A... More

Visited using Tesco vouchers which decreased the cost considerably. The place was clean and well maintained, but there was a lot of display boards to read which isn't suitable for a 5 year old. Even our 10 year old got bored with all of the reading. The simulator wasn't great but the planetarium show was really good and we all... More

Hi, we do try and advise visitors that Spaceport is most suitable for children over the age of 5. We are glad you enjoyed our planetarium show and hope that you visit again soon perhaps when we have a special event running. More

Not as good as expected. Many of the interactive display not working or just very confusing to be used by kids (and me). The 360 degree cinema show was good. It would have been useful if staff had been around to ask for advice but they were in very short supply. I did mention tis to them and was told... More

We're sorry the visit did not fully meet your expectations. We have a small number of exhibits that are currently waiting for repair. However, the main elements of the attraction including the planetarium show (25 mins duration) and the stimulator ride (unlimited rides available) are working fine. The 'Time Travellers' exhibition is displayed on the upper floor which includes clay... More

Thank you for the feedback - we are sorry you received incorrect information about the suitability of Spaceport for a 3 year old. Spaceport is more suited to older children which is why we do not charge for under 5's. We have re-issued guidance to all our staff regarding the suitability of Spaceport for young children. The children's play area... More

This has to be one of the worst museums I've ever been in. It's basically just a collection of interactive displays, many of which weren't working. It kept the little ones happy for half an hour randomly pressing buttons and twiddling knobs. Upstairs was a collection of plastic daleks, homemade Dr Who costumes and film posters. What a waste of... More

I brought 50 young people to this attraction and they absolutely loved it. That's as good an endorsement as you can get. We all loved the simulator and the lie back in your chair and gaze at the stars was truly remarkable with the 3D views of Space. Go and visit and watch the children's faces light up with information... More

Must get the full pass it is well worth it. You may be disappointed if you bought them separately. Pass includes river cruise, u-boat experience and spaceport. Best thing to do is plan. Get times for ferry departures and start at spaceport while waiting for ferry then next stop the u-boat, get back on boat after 30min- 1hr and spend... More
