Both myself and son (15) have said we'd like to go and see it for some time... To be honest I wish we hadn't bothered.. Ok there's plenty of static displays, with interactive ish, I say ish because like many others we found that many of the buttons where not working, the more active displays where filter not working or... Visited with family during October half term 2015. Bought a £30 combined family ticket for Mersey Ferry, U-Boat Story and Spaceport. Having started with U-Boat Story (see my other review!) and spent a few hours in Liverpool, we ended up visiting Spaceport last. Arrived at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon and spent around 2.5 hours, which is ample time to... More

We took our 3 grandsons who are 12, 10 and 6 and they thoroughly enjoyed Spaceport. One or two of the interactive things weren't working but there was plenty for them to see and do. Even the youngest was interested in the video about what happens to people in space. As with most children they liked being able to use... More

Lots of boring, educational displays but no artefacts that have actually been in space. Projector in the Planetarium theatre was displaying a message to replace the lamp, as a result the image was very dim and difficult to watch. They have a simulator ride but it only operates at certain times of the day and the last ride is at... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, There is loads to do and see. We arrived there at about 2.00pm just as the school visiting left. For a whilie we were the only people in there. If you want to avoid school trips this is the best time to go. We bought a river explorer ticket for £14 each which also... More

Spent about 90 minutes here which included the explorer 1 space ride & space dome theatre. There were plenty of hands on experiences.

Came here in school holidays with a few family members. What a fab day we all had. There were so many activities to take part in. The shop wasn't expensive which is always a plus. Really fab day out x

The idea of this attraction is to provide a venue to visit if you are using the ferry tour but you can equally go by road and park easily at Seacombe. It is aimed at families and children rather than academics but provides an hour's fun. Whilst you are there take a walk along the riverside and admire the views... More

We visited as part of the Mersey Ferry / U Boat Story package and spent a couple of hours at Spaceport. My 3 boys (ages 4,6 and 9) enjoyed the hands on nature of the exhibits although there were a few that were not working. It kept them interested for a couple of hours before we got the 'Dazzle' ferry... More
