On a lovely sunny day we wanted to explore Port Sunlight, created by William Hesketh Lever for his Sunlight soap factory workers in 1888. . We bought a £4.70 Saveaway ticket in Liverpool. Trains run every 20mins and you can get off at either Bebington and Port Sunlight stations. We got a bit lost as we came out of the... More

The Lady Lever Art Gallery is well worth seeing it has a wide range of paintings, pottery, tapestries and room settings from different periods in time (admission free but a donation is welcome). It is also wheelchair accessible. Opposite the Gallery is a Heritiage Museum that illustrates the history of the Lever... More

Easy to park, wonderful art gallery with friendly and helpful staff - lovely food in cafe. Interesting museum with film about history, trail to follow to see all interesting buildings with history and details - old fashioned tea shop with real tea and cake! Lots of things for children to do and to interest everyone. See the website for what's... More

Was really interesting but wasn't really much of a museum. Had we not watch the twenty minute film we could have been out in ten minutes. More
