We went to Kukke Subramaniyam Temple in Jan and we went via Mangalore and the roads are a bit too small...Would suggest that you could book a taxi as the roads are not that good. There is a lot of rush and hence you would have to plan your day. Shirts are not allowed for Gents in the temply.

Devotees throng to this temple. It is highly revered and people have a lot of faith with the diety here. People with "sarpa dosha" usually do sevas here as a means to rectify the dosha.

The temple is well organized in terms of managing crowd. We were able to have a good Dharshan in 20-30 mins though we thought it would take more time as the crowd was more. You have 2 eateries serving decent food on the same road where the temple is. They are NeoCafe and Kumara Kripa. We had breakfast at the... More

Such a nice temple with such sanctity. The administration has not at all kept it clean - not sure when they painted it last - floor dirty and bad crowd management. No proper toilet facilities and the surroudning are kept untidy. This is one of the richest temples but I wonder why they don't offer some minimum facitilies to the... More

We had camped at Udupi and visited the Krishna temple, Aney Ganapathi and Kollur Mookambika Devi the first day.The next day we visited the Krishna temple and spent blissful 2-3 hours. Later we visited the Mahakali temple, the Malpe beach and the Shirdi Sai temple. We departed early morning... More

A wonderful temple which makes you go in again and again....Something serene and devotional about the whole place!!! And having a darshan is also very easy. In the mornings when there is a crowd, one can take a Special Darshanam ticket for Rs.100 and in the evenings just walk into the temple or if one wishes to avail the sevas... More
