Just came back from our stay at the Lion's Den, and wanted to express just how happy we were with our experience! From the time we arrived, we felt welcomed, and everyone was friendly and great to talk to, and we got to learn a lot. The room was amazing, and the commodities were more than enough. Great little touches... More

Nice small zoo. Great if you have little kids. It took us about 2 hours to see everything. I definitely recommend going at feeding time as the animal are more active. Some of the enclosures seem a bit small for the large cats.

Visited Jungle cat world with my two children. First impression, very run down and the cages are exceptionally small for the poor beasts. My seven year old son couldn't get out of there fast enough and I was close behind him. Felt very, very sad for those magnificant beasts. Don't spend your money supporting an outfit like this unless you... More

It was a fablous time. This was our third visit and our second time staying at the bed and breakfast. We also did the behind the scenes tour which is an experience you must have. There is nothing like taking a walk in the park at night or first thing in the morning. You also go to sleep listening to... More

Just got back from Jungle Cat World (in Orono) with niece Leah. What a fantastic place! Totally worth the drive. We had a blast. If you have the budget to pay the extra $$$ for the "behind the scenes" package (meet & greet with 3 of the animals) go for it. Was a truly amazing & rewarding experience. You can... More

It was an amazing once in a life time experience, where you get to see these beautiful wild animals up close and personal. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable, they explained everything they know about all the animals. I would definitely recommend this place for all ages, it is something everyone should get to experience. It is just amazing!!!

This is one of the better trips I have been on and I have been talking about it ever since. Our guide Carl was very informative and friendly. Like the title says I have been recommending this to everyone I have basically interacted with and showed pictures of me and my girlfriend petting these amazing animals .100% recommend, this will... It was nice to see the animals. However the park is a little run down. It would have been nice if they had some extra things for the kids to do.

i went to zoo camp here when i was younger. you can truly tell the keepers care about the animals and are very knowledgeable. bowmanville zoo has a lot of allegations of animal neglect and abuse so it's refreshing to see a private zoo with as much concern and consideration for their animals as the staff here do. will definitely... A fabulous day with young ones. Make sure that you go on a cooler day when the animals are active. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it. You can even pay for time with some of the animals. While we were there we saw children playing with young timber wolves.
