I was really excited to revisit this place when we found discounted tickets on groupon. I hadn't been since I was quite young, and it seems as though the standards for animal care have declined substantially. The animals, and I do mean all of the animals, were in the smallest enclosures I have seen in a zoo, none looked happy... More

My husband and I were at the zoo for a behind the scene tour yesterday and we had an amazing time. It was pouring rain and the staff were very accommodating to us to make sure we still had an amazing experience. We got to meet the fennec fox, baby timber wolf, ring tailed lemurs, and Ed the hyena. We visited on what could have been one of the most rainy days. We went through once a bit before the feeding time and then took the feeding tour. You could really tell that the woman doing our tour really cared about the animals and her job. Even though the weather was miserable she was very enthusiastic and very informative.... More

My teenage daughter gave this stay as a Christmas gift and we stayed in the safari suite overnight. THE staff are very nice and helpful as well as knowledgeable about the animals. They seem to care for the animals as well. The suite was very nice but not very clean cobwebs, dusty, dead fly bodies, stains on some cushions and... More

I recently decided to take my child to Jungle Cat World to see the animals and it was extremely sad and disappointing! The cages are WAY too small for these large cats that require plenty of room to run around. I was only there for an hour and I watched as a tiger paced back and forth in his tiny... More

Very disgusted in the whole zoo layout. Animals are extremley aggravated and stressed their kept in small cages with no room to roam. Larger animals were constanly passing. Also theres Lack of water.. The artic wolves not even sure how they survive in this Canadain hot humid weather? No colder area for them to go to. The monkeys are in... More

One of the best days of my life! What an experience! A very small zoo where the animals are well taken care of and look amazingly healthy. Kudos to the owners of this place, 40 years of hard work and pure love. We did the Behind the Scenes Adventure and it was well worth the 2 hour drive and money.... More

The two... More

We did the Behind the Scenes tour and it was truly amazing! All the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The place is small, but is perfect for a few hours of fun. We watched the Feeding of the Animals and had a picnic lunch there too. My favourite was the Lemurs tour - they sat on our heads, shoulders... More

What a great place. Small, family owned and run zoo-rescue-sanctuary. We did the meet the animals experience and met Contessa the tiger, Murphy the Serval Cat and Luna the Fennic Fox. They were all so cool. Luna was pleased to just cuddle and snuggle on my chest. Murphy was just like a giant housecat. He flopped at my feet and... More
