This is located in the beautiful city of Laguardia. . .the building is modern and the new trend in wineries. . .build a great building but I feel more people visit because of the architecture than because of the wine! The tour is typical of the region (long, and you need to make a reservation before-hand and includes a tasting... More

Designed by Calatrava, the building looks fabulous close-up and from a distance -- we stayed in the nearby hill-town of Laguardia which has a great view of the winery. The tour was nice, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, and the tour included a tasting at the end. Be sure to book on-line in advance. We also recommend seeing another,... More

A building you cannot miss from far, it is as impressive from the outside as the inside. We had a great tour and our guide showed lots of passion for the company, their philosophy and its wines. The tasting contained two red wines with small bites. A good explanation was given of how you should taste the wines.

Fabulous looking building and very 'perfect' looking inside, designed around the Egyptian pyramids. Informative tour of the wine making process. We asked our hotel to book us in, having read other reviews. Two couples on our tour hadn't apparently booked (or booking not received) and we observed they were treated in a slightly condescending manner, but were able to join... More

Amazing building, give yourself time to walk around outside before the tour. Informative tour, interesting production method but a bit cold and sterile in comparison to other wineries. Excellent guide who then took us to this amazing room upstairs in the front of the building for our wine tasting. The views were stunning and there were lounges and tables and... More

Before our trip to the Rioja region I knew that there were a few visually stunning Bodegas that I wanted to see, Ysios being one of them. We had no idea that they had a tour, or even if it was going to be open to visitors. We drove up, took pictures, milled around for a bit and then saw... More

First of all, make sure you confirm your tour reservation if you book via E-mail. When we arrived, the woman who worked there explained that she never received our confirmation (which was sent but must not have gone through for whatever reason). She wanted to make it clear to us that we would not have been able to do the... More

We went in october, the weather was great and could see the grapevines loaded with fruit (they are collecting the grapes this time of year). The visit was nice, and the building is impressive work by Calatrava.
