Located in a very unique & modern designed building that can be seen from the hilltop village of Laguardia, this bodega has produced wine since 2001. Unlike some other bodegas in the area, you can not just drop in for a tasting or tour here...Reservations must be made online or over the phone to be included in a tour/tasting for... More

we came for the visit a bit late it was closed but the point is to see it from the outside. we had winery visit before we arrived so the architecture was the main thing . not to be missed. call to find when it is open if you want to visit inside. even closed- come to see . it... More

We booked a tour in advance and enjoyed a good hour and a half learning about the building, the architectural thoughts behind the design and the wine making process which was very modern. We had a knowledgeable and friendly guide who made the trip really interesting and we were made to feel very welcome. We were given a taste of... More

We have been visiting several architectural highlights (Portia by N Foster, Tondonia with the Hadid Shop, Marques de Riscal etc.) Ysios was disappointing - it is mainly a nice "storefront" and the surrounding is poorly maintained like the water basin in front (the sides and the back of the building a very are basic). There is now shadow anywhere and... More

We stayed in beautiful LaGuardia last week for a couple of nights. Our hotel tried booking a tour of the local Ysios bodegas the day before and on the morning we wanted to visit. They repeatedly called the number that Ysios publish for arranging such a tour however nobody answered. Undaunted we nevertheless rolled up just before the appointed tour... More

From the reviews that I've read prior to my trip to Rioja, my understanding with this winery was that it was not that visitor friendly. That was exactly what I experienced during my attempted visit. When we reached to the winery for just a look from the outside, we were warned that a private event was undergoing and it was... More

La Rioja is a special place in Spain, with special wine, unique to the region. A wine that has a musty aroma and palate, you know it's Rioja by this particular sense. Almost all Rioja's have it, something to look forward to in Spanish wines. You taste the wine of Spain, and only Spain in Rioja. I was gifted a... More

This vineyard was well worth the visit, the tour was very professional. A bit pricey at $12 each but it's redeemable off purchases and we made 3! Stunning building makes for great photos and it's so close to Laguardia for a stroll after.

I should say, that I'm not a wine enthusiast, primary goal for me was to see that very unusual building. And it is really worth a visit, very impressive creation in front of mountains. Now, they rebuilding the roof, so there is a green net all way around roof perimeter and no water in the pool around. The tour, however, was... More

We happened to show up at Bodegas Ysios after a long walk around the lake in Laguardia. While we didn't make any appointment, we thought that we should be able to go inside the bodega, look around and buy some wine. We found the place was locked. We pressed the bell at the main entrance a number of times, but... More
