We decided to go to the Science Museum since we had time to kill before check-in, and we spent a good two hours here despite our jet-lag (plenty of benches to sit and take a break). The best section is the biodiversity section, so if you like to save the best for last I would move on right when you... More

A science museum ought to teach. If you are only an English speaker, forget this place. Everything is in Japanese. Boring and useless. More

If you have time, it's certainly worth a visit but not if you have to miss some of Tokyo's more famous / renown sights! More

If you don't speak or understand much Japanese, go to the information desk on the right side of entrance and rent a electronic audio guide. You'll be glad you did! Other than that, the museum has lots of interesting information about early life in Japan, evolution and space. Skip the movie (360) if you're pressed for time...it's not worth it... More

Decided to go here for the day, had a wonderful time. There is 2 buildings here, the old building mainly has Japanese exhibits and the newer building has science exhibits from across the world. We loved the hands on science in the new building and spent a great deal of our time there. Would visit again. More

Great exhibits and many of them were in English. I only say this becaus ewe visited another museum, The museum of Graphic design?, and nothing was in english but you could understand the message in the ads and photos. This museum was filled with lots of cool things and exhibits. More

I went here solo in January 2012 as a 30 year old male, and even though many of the previous reviewers say it's ideal for children, the small child inside every man will definitely enjoy this venue. When you enter be sure to grab a map of the layout of the museum, you will get lost with out it. Its... More

This was an inexpensive museum (600 Yen per adult) and the displays were fantastic. Better than any museum I have been to in Australia. More

Great place, probably amazing explanations, but too little translations, even on the electronic screens where most of the parts are still "under construction", especially in the Japanese life part. More
