The Museum is not very large but there is a tour and they give you some really interesting details about Ebisu beer and it's history. After you are able to buy beer tokens from a vending machine that you can use to try out several different types of Ebisu beer. There is no entry fee to visit the but the... More

Great museum to visit with no entry fee. Guided tour in English available at specific times. Good place to sample some Japanese beer at the bar and learn about Japanese beer history in a nice part of town.

We had a quiet day so decided to visit Ebisu - the museum is pretty small and we didn't bother with the paid guided tour. The information is all in English and it's interesting to see how German beer hit Japan as well as try a couple of alternate variants of the beer at the end.

Wheelchair accessible (ramp out front, elevator inside), admission is free. The museum is relatively small but gives a nice, simple walk through of Yebisu beer's history. There's a small gift shop, and a small area for eating; we didn't try the food. They offer guided tours which include something extra at the end, but we wandered on our own. I... More

I was excited about a beer history tour, but it's only in Japanese and if you dont join the guided tour (which you cant do if you dont speak Japanese) then beer has a rather average price- you'd be paying 800Y for 2 small beers and one appetizer. Not worth coming here- but Ebisu is a nice neighborood, worth a... More

The most surprising thing about this museum is the directions to get there. It is conveniently connected to a mall which is connected to a covered walkway with people movers which is connected to the subway system. It was pouring rain (Tokyo know how to so rain....) and we were not looking forward to the long walk outside. It is... More

There is no English speaking tour but I'm glad I went here with my Japanese friends. There is no entry fee. It only took around 20 - 30 minutes to look around and then we spent the rest of the time trying the 3 different beers on tap which were all great! Few souvies to buy in the gift shop.... More

This is a quick and nice way to end a day of exploration in Tokyo. Well located near both two transportation lines, the tour is short and informative and is followed by a few very tasty beers. the best part is the beer :)

Really nice place to discover the origin of Yebisu beer! No tour in English, which is too bad really. Nice but not too cosy 'tasting room' on the right hand side. Pay the drinks with the special Yebisu coin you buy before you enter the 'room'. All in all, this is a nice place to go to especially because entering... More
