Its one of those Japanese all in one places, there are three museum / gallery spaces. A viewing platform, and a restaurant. The view of Tokyo tower is really good particularly on a clear night. The galleries each rotate through exhibitions - lots of good stuff on the whole.

Views are really nice, particularly from the top of the buildings, and most prominently the Tokyo Tower.

This was my first visit to Tokyo and the view from the Sky Tree Deck was impressive. We were in luck and the line was not too long. We also timed our visit at dusk so we got to see the sun set and the lights going up all over the city which was pretty impressive. We enjoyed it very... More

view from Daiba island is excellent, nearest hotel is Grand Pacific and Hotel Nikko. City panoramic view and Rainbow bridge make a perfect combination here.

Tokyo is awesome and the high rises makes my town (London) look like a village. The view from The Sky Tree is breath taking and whenever you are up high you will be taking pictures.

The sjydeck it's one of the best places to see Tokyo, specially during the night. In the top of the Roppongi Hills you won't regret!

Wow, what a view, we went up during the day, but it was so good that we went up again by night!! I had thought to go up the Tokyo tower, but found ourselves outside the world trade buildings, so,did that instead, and am so glad I did, because one of the best bits about the view is being able... We had a great time in Tokyo but I think 3 days is enough to check this place out. (We were there for the skiing in Hakuba which was awesome and would highly recommend that). I'd recommend not to stay in Shinjuku as it's just a big redlight district really. Good for night life if you're into that sort of... More

Staying in Akasaka / Roppongi

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
