Caretta Shiodome is a showcase itself, you can have a good view of the whole place surrounding it on the 46/47th floor, and have lunch or dinner as well.

We had our lunch on the 46rh floor, what a sight, even from the glass elevator you could see the buildings around you, wat a sight!

The best winter illumination show I had ever seen, the light show changes with the music which last around 10 mins. After the light show, you can take photos around the light deco. After that, go in the building and take the lift up to the 46th floor. Up on the viewing deck, you get the perfect night view scene... More

Excellent skyview of Tokyo free of charge.Go to 46/F, you can see the Tokyo bay and rainbow bridge, night view is excellent, but the reflection of light inside make it little bit troublesome to take photo. Go there to see x'mas illumination if visit during year end.Fascinating light and music show, the most important thing is, you don't need to queue up... More

We found our way up to the 46/47th floor of this building using the glass elevator. Only one side of the windows was opened. The view was stunning. You could see the fish market and the Hama-rikyu Gardens side but not anything else. Good thing it was free to go up otherwise it would be very disappointing. The other sides... More

Super convenient with excellent food options. My daughter loved the Udon/tempura restaurant adjacent to the fountain--ate there 3 times!

There are restaurants with reportedly good views on the 46th and 47th floors, but we didn't eat there. We did the free version - take the glass elevator up the side of the building and then looked out the free floor to ceiling window overlooking the fish market and Daiba island.

Although we went there on a rainy day, the view from floors 46 and 47 was fantastic! I wish we had more time to shop and enjoy a meal at the restaurants, they all looked appealing and quite busy!

We stopped in here after visiting the Imperial Gardens. Our feet were sore and mostly we wanted somewhere to sit down and relax. Luckily, we found ourselves near the elevators which took us up to the 46th floor sky view. We had a drink at the bar in Sorasio and took in the beautiful night lights of Tokyo below. You... More

Great view with clear sky when you take the elevator to 46th floor, but only if you go to their restaurants to see sky tree.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
