the shiodome complex is huge and has so many shops, restaurants and kid fun zones. It's also the gateway to Shiodome and Shinbashi subway stations so very convenient. Great Yakatori restaurant in the Caretta Shiodome basement level.

Located in a business area, it offers lots of restaurants. However, I don't feel it is worth to waste some time just for visiting.

The Caretta Shiodome is a great shopping complex which comes with an interesting advertising museum on the B1 floor which is worth taking a look. There are a couple of good places to eat here as well. The place really becomes popular from late November until the end of the year when their excellent Christmas illuminations are put up. These... In Tokyo there are many skyscrapers. Some of them have a fee to go to the top. In some there is an expensive restaurant. But if you come to the Caretta building, you can take the elevator to the top (46-47 floors) without asking anything to anyone - and without paying. The elevators have an outside view, so you see... Staying at the Conrad Hotel, this is a very convenient stop. There is a wide range of food options here, from Subway, Mickey Ds, Din Tai Fung and several ramen shops to many other eateries serving Western style meals. My favourite is a small ramen shop tucked away in a corner of B2, near the florists. There are a also... More

This place is good for some of it's food option and the proximity to the water taxi pier for a nice river trip down Tokyo. Otherwise, don't invest your time in coming down here.

By all means, Caretta offers a lot of choice food wise, and for a different budget ranges. Not to mention that it is set in Shiodome, which is definitely a thing to do while in Tokyo. But, head up in a panoramic elevator, one of the fastest in the city, for an amazing view of the west side of Tokyo.... More

We stayed in Shiodome, Caretta was really handy for a meal. We got lost every time we went in though, and the restaurants closed a lot earlier than we expected. Highly recommend Ichi Ni San for amazing pork dishes.

This is a place to shop for essentials, have a nice lunch or dinner and get some treats. There is a 7-11 inside if you need an ATM, a bookstore a small drugstore and much more that we didn't explore. If you want a tasty, light, tasty, affordable lunch here, try the pyramid shaped onigiri (rice balls) at Omusubi.

Was taken here for business dinner and ate sushi on 47th floor. Very pleasant experience. The whole complex is very modern and well groomed. Directions can be confusing but they have maps and signs.
