It's a really nice cinema with a huge screen. We had some trouble finding it as it wasn't indicated very well in our guidebook. It is a rather long walk from the Roppongi Subway Station (it took us 15 minutes) and in between Roppongi Hills buildings. I would recommend going there well in advance.

Walked a long way only to discover the entire mall including the Toho Cinema theatre is completely fenced all around and under renovations. There was no indication or warning online this would be so.

Saw Hero6 with my family, higher prices than we experience in Georgia / USA, but quite good sound, seating and food. Excellent theater that can accommodate we English speakers. Thank you.

A cool looking cinema inside and films subtitled in English were perfect for us. I would recommend it. (seen in 2009)

A great place to take in a movie in Tokyo. Get tickets online ahead of time and avoid the lines. Two snack bars, decent bathrooms and good seating. Small theaters, but it's better that way.

Very user friendly website and on-site staff to select English movies with ease - much easier than a couple other attempts I experienced in Japan. Arrived early to get tickets and get some food from mall's restaurants and enjoy some shopping. Failed to realize the nice looking cocktail bar attached to movie theatre, would have tried. A couple more luxurious... More

I have been to this theatre numerous times, my children truly enjoy it. Albeit fairly expensive it is worth the cost.

One will be served if it becomes a member, and six are seen. Roppongi Hills is adjoined. Since various movie events, a stage greeting, etc. are performed, it may be crowded.

I always go there if I arrive during the weekend. They have a lot of international movies in English, pop corn and all kinds of Japanese movie snacks as well. Check the current movies online before you go - the website is quite good. Also, notice that they have a special luxury theater for premiers where you will get a... More

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
