I'm sat on the observation deck at 5:30pm waiting for the sun to set and the deck is almost totally deserted. Maybe 5 others in total. The deck circles the whole of the 40th floor and has excellent views of the city and the bay, plus the nearby parks and of Zojyoji Temple. The tower is right next to the... More

A whole view of Tokyo Bay, such as Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge, or rows of houses can be commanded. Evening glow and a night view are the scenes which are being seen from the sky by helicopter.

Located at Hamamatsucho station which is next to Tokyo Bay thus it has beautiful panoramic view of Tokyo Bay. Many vessels go and out.

Well worth getting a great view of the city from the observation floor of this building. You'll only need about an hour for this attraction, but there are great photo opportunities, particularly of the Tokyo Tower. (Probably better views from here that the tower itself)

You get great views of Tokyo Tower, Tokyo bay, the Rainbow bridge and Ferris Wheel plus the rest of the city. It looks great at night but you do have to be very careful of reflections that pop up in your pictures. They do dim the lights so it isn't too bad but look out for exit signs etc that... More

Since the opening of Tokyo sky tree in 2012, this place is sadly a little abandoned. Went up there for sunset around 5pm, and found that it was fairly quiet and relaxing. World trade centre is located next to Hamamatsucho JR station, very easy to find. Entry to go up the 40th floor view deck is 620 yen for adults.... More

I was in the neighbourhood and came across Seaside top completely by chance. As I hadn't visited any of Tokyo's other observatories I decided to pop in. I'm glad I did. There were no queues whatsoever. I took the lift to the observatory in a matter of seconds and was one of only around 7 people up there. The views... More

The panoramic views of Tokyo from here were awe-inspiring. But the most surprising aspect was the price... 300 yen... and how few people were there. Plenty of seating to sit, relax and watch the world. We returned at night for a second look, which was worth doing. In case you struggle to find it, it's inside the World Trade Center.

Seaside top is the name of the observation floor of the World Trade Center building in Minato prefecture of Tokyo. On the bottom level you can find a lot of places to eat. It was 620 Yen for an Adult and well worth it for me. I went prior to Christmas and they had some nice decorations in place and... More

From the 40th floor of one of the earliest skyscrapers in Japan, you get a fantastic view of the entire city. What makes this view better than the Tokyo Tower is the fact you can look at the Tower from this view, standing out brightly in the view. There's some couches, chairs and table's to relax. There's a vending machine... More
