If you have any interest at all in Bonsai or gardening, you will thoroughly enjoy a visit to this museum. As well as a museum, Shunkaen Bonsai grows and has on show, both very young and very old Bonsai trees. It's also a teaching centre. The museum has a small entry fee. Came across this Bonsai treasure in Tokyo. It is away from the hustle and bustle and when we visited we were provided with an apprentice bonsai artist to answer questions and in show us highlights. We learnt so much from this personal tour and this place is one of my Tokyo highlights.
