We set the GPS Navigator up for the park and it led us to the small visitors' centre. Here a very pleasant guide passed us a map and gave us itinerary suggestions. There are plentiful options for guided tours where you will receive binoculars, but you can enjoy the visit without this. There are three walking routes from the visitors'... More

This is a great spot in the summer for birds. We were there in the winter which limits the number of birds that you can see... However, you will want to go to the blinds that conceal you from the birds that they have in an enclosure. They are rehabilitating injured birds and some they keep for educational purposes. You... Nice place for a walk. Not spectacular, but a bit different than most places. I guess it was more impressive when there were more water around...

Not worth seeing. It seems there have been several dry years and the local farmers had been taking the wáter. There was wáter when we visited but we only saw 2 ducks. There were plenty of stuffed ducks and geese in the visitor centre but no one has invited live ones back.

I guess this place is fantastic for bird watching, at the right moments that is. For just hiking, the place is clearly not as good as it used to be, but still some nice views, and since there is not much more around there, worth visiting

Beautiful aquatic environment in middle of dry La Mancha. It's a good place for people who enjoy bird watching.

We didn't know what Las Tablas de Daimiel was until we got there (recommended by our hotel's receptionist). We discovered an incredible bird-watching park where you walk on top of wood stilted bridges in the middle of lakes and general greenery. Absolutely amazing and very serene. Make sure to go into the wooden huts to sit and watch the wildlife... More

This small national park surrounding a small wetlands had trails and boardwalks, and a good little museum/interpretive center. We saw hares, lots of birds, and a fox on an early morning walk.

One of the few National Parks in Spain. It's a flat wetland with lots of birds (storks for example) and very good walks through it and even some bird-watching huts. If you are lucky and not too many people in the park you are likely to get some nice close-up pictures of water-birds. At the least you'll have a nice... More
