Unexpectedly good value , other places like this can sometimes be a bit of a let-down but this was excellent, pleasant staff, simulator was very realistic, displays great, in particular the ability to actually go on a boat was wonderful.

This is well worth a 90 minute visit. Interactive displays are both fun and informative. Seeing the HQ of race control was impressive and the Brazilian entrant outside showed the size and power of these crafts.

The Volvo Zone has a museum, a cafe on top of the museum, a food truck ran by a nice couple outside of the museum, and a nice area to walk or bike. Nice for a quiet family hangout during afternoon with rollerblads.

We found this exhibition really fascinating and were amazed at the courage required by all the crews on this 9 month race. The interactive displays were interesting and user friendly. Being able to read the up -to-date info on where the crews were was good and seeing the two boats put the whole challenge into perspective.

Although we do not sail we really enjoyed the village. The museum is fantastic, sometimes busy so book that first. It's great to see all the yachts and the history behind them.

Ok but really just a series of photographs. The only interesting part was to see the control room for the race. I guess for non-sailors the chance to stand in the cockpit of a yacht on a cradle might be exciting, but not for an old sea-dog such as myself.

We stumbled on this museum while walking round. Amazed that it was free. There was a live link to a yacht in English which we really enjoyed. There are some interactive things which children and adults can enjoy.
