Our group of seven from the Celebrity Equinox arranged for a shore excursion/walking tour of Alicante through Tortuga. Our guide, Mareen, has been living there long enough to consider herself a local. As such, she showed us all the major points of interest and explained their artistic/cultural significance beautifully. Bravo! Tortuga and Mareen!

My sister and I had a guided gastronomic tour of Alicante last Saturday morning with Mareen from Tortuga Tours. In only 3 hours she showed us all an unbelievable amount of city highlights that we would never have found on our own, dipping in and out of important buildings and museums, walking along the port area and through the old... We just had the opportunity to tour Alicante with Mareen and had a great time despite the rain. We had been in Alicante for three weeks already and had visited many places and museums. She adapted her walking tour on a dime and made us visit the Santa Cruz area she does not present usually to make up for other... More

Yesterday I took the Tortuga Tour - Alicante Gourmet. A delightful mix of history, culture and gourmet tastes including wine, olive oil, chocolate, turron etc etc. Lead by Felipe, who did an excellent job, it was a very interesting and enjoyable morning. They have a selction of tours and I plan to go on some more, a great way to... More

This activity is a MUST when visiting Alicante, it consisted of a guided tour of the old town and what made it stand out is the incorportation of some theatre scenes that makes you travel through time! I don't usualy bother writing a review but I had to express my gratitude and satisfaction! It was intresting, I learned a lot... More

We were three guys who spent a week in Alicante, and the guided segway tour was the highlight of our vacation. Firstly because segways are so much fun to ride, and its a great way to see the city. The service was also outstanding. Our tour guide was very friendly, and took us to central spots telling a bit about... More

We were in Alicante for only one day and decided to do a walking tour to discover as much of the city as possible. Felipe was such a lovely guide. He had a hard job of running the tour in English and Spanish so had to translate everything but we were never left not understanding or not feeling included. He... More

We had 2 great trips with Tortuga Tours, to see Guadalest and also to see a football match at Valencia. Felipe made both journeys interesting with his local knowledge and the fact that he speaks several languages means that he is able to cater for everybody. He runs small groups with his people carrier and that was much better than... More

We were pointed towards Tortuga by the hotel staff and to be honest, I couldn't find anywhere else in central Alicante to rent bikes for a couple of days. Staff were both really friendly and helpful, but the bikes were appallingly maintained, despite claims that "the mechanic works in the afternoons", my opinion was that the bikes had never seen...
