€2.50 for a lift ride to the top of the mountain, straight into the castle. It's a trek to walk around, but the view is way more than worth it. Being able to see mountains all around you, the bull ring in the distance, the harbour and everything is just breathtaking. Lovely little cafés at the top too so you... More

The castle and the views around are really beautiful. High above the sea, well kept grounds, cute little exhibitions around, and all free of charge. Totally worth a visit!

I was for vacation in alicante this summer and Santa Barbara was one of the best attractions that this city has. Most important is that this summer they were hosting a Star Wars exhibition which was spectacular. They access is easy by car and they have parking but small which in busy days gets full immediately

The castle is well worth a visit just for the views of the town of Alicante, the port and the coastline. There is quite a lot of the castle to look round although we took the 'self-explore' option rather than a guided tour. The lift from the seafront to both the 'ground floor' and upper level of the castle was... More

Amazing place - history, modern conveniences and a stunning range of views across the city. Happened to be the Navarro star wars exhibition on and with 2 little boys that was the icing on the cake! Excellent display and super cool video showing Vader taking over the castle!

Fabulous view and neat to see, unfortunately we couldn't read much as it was all in Spanish but we stopped for snacks and a nice little cafe up there and looked through the little markets up there.

The castle is perched on a steep hilltop overlooking the city and harbour. The castle is stunning and the views are as breathtaking. On a clear day you can see as far as to the mountains, This will defo be a highlight of your holiday, Night time is also a breathtakingly stunning view.

Great views over the city !the harbour and beautiful blue/ green sea and an excellent place to take photographs. Plenty to see and read in English, although some were closed during siesta. The only charge is if you take the lift to the second floor (free if you get out at the first and walk the rest of the way)

The castle is perched on a steep hilltop overlooking the town and harbour. The castle is excellent and the views are as good as any views you'll ever see over a town. This will be a highlight of your trip.
