We just happened to be in the area and found this gem. I had not seen reviews so I did not have high hopes. We were pleasantly surprised! 3-D and 4-D films were entertaining. The exhibits were neat, and little scary. We really enjoyed that you could practically walk right up to the dinosaur. Kids play ground park was free... More

Visited the park w my 4+5 year old boys.Warning:park is recommended for 6 year old and above and its true that some dioramas were very realistic thus scary.A 3d snd 4d movie is also offered plus excibitions of very realistic dinos and other prehistoric animals. There is also a simulation of a travel back in time and lastly the huge diorama... This is a prehistoric exhibition which is a must see event. The site is well displayed with an audio guide in many different languages. There are animated displays as well as videos and written information suitable for all ages. Some of the animations might be a bit scary for very young children. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!

The last time we have been that place was half the size. Now it is finally worth the money. It still is ki da pricy, especially if you are a bigger family. I just went with my son and it was already 30 Euro.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but this is a great indoor activity even if your German is limited. Handsets provide translation. Interesting for all ages, 3D movies, lifesize moving dioramas, and a few surprises along the way. We spent a couple of hours on a rainy day in the exhibit and then another couple of hours in the... Was very skeptical based on the location and neighborhood but once inside I forgot where I was. The budget must have been incredible for these attractions. Multiple 3D movies and amazing animatronics. Went with our 9 and 13 year old and they both said it was the best museum ever. If your around Saarbrucken or Ramstein area, you need to... More

We were really surprised at how well done the GONDWANA - Das Praehistorium was. We were initially disappointed at the price (it is very expensive), but after you visit you will understand the cost, and it is worth it. From 3D movies to 4D Movies, rain forests, simulated dinosaur action, animatronics and a huge shark "Megalodon" that trys to break... More

Gondwana is a nice museum that has a little bit of everything for kids and adults. It's a decent sized attraction with dinosaur bones, fossils, and animitronix. There's also short films to watch about dinosaurs and one about the megaladon. There's a small gift shop and snack bar with decent prices. The only negative is we went the only time... More

Do your kids love dinosaurs? Mine do, in fact they were in Dino heaven at this place (so were the adults)! Gondwana is an interactive museum that takes you on a journey from the birth of the planet right up to the present day, it really brings history to life. My 9 year old said ‘its the sickest place he’s... More
