It would be hard to add to the superlative reviews of this attraction. Suffice to say that we came upon it by chance and were very pleased that we did. The guided tour of the hangar/workshop costs a very reasonable £4.50 for a nominal hour. Our knowledgeable volunteer guide Lloyd kept us informed, amused and entertained for almost two! To... More

Get up close with iconic aircraft on one of the guided tours. A brilliant opportunity to learn about the aircraft from one of the knowledgeable guides and you can take photos. The shop is well stocked and there is a very good display of memorabilia and wartime stories.

Visited the museum while all the aircraft and the Canadian Lancaster were in the hangar (A Rarity according to our guide). It was a really good experience and I would fully recommend it for people of all ages.

Worth every penny of the entry fee. The vets that take the tours have a wealth of knowledge and great stories about the planes. They talk with a passion

This is well worth a visit. The guides are so informative and clearly passionate about the history of the planes. Good value family ticket which included up to 3 concessions, either children or granny. On our visit we were lucky enough to see the Canadian Lancaster and British Lancaster bombers depart on their flight to take part in the Eastbourne... More

Really enjoyed this attraction. Thoroughly recommend the hanger tour to really get a true feel of what this has to offer. Lovely cafe. Extremely interesting even for those who have no direct interest in planes you can't help but gulp at the realisation of what those brave crews did for our country.

Luckily my visit here coincided with a visit by a Canadian Lancaster bomber, so both the Worlds flying examples were there. The hangar tours were shorter than usual due to high numbers wanting to see the visiting aircraft. Access to the aircraft is a bit limited but understandable as they are in regular use and being moved and worked on.... More

The visit was planned as we wanted to see both Lancaster Bombers together. We bought advanced tickets on the website. We were worried that it may be a bit chaotic, but need not have. The organisation was great and, there was no way anyone could possibly miss their tour. Our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, and answered all our... More
