Great place to visit if you are interested in the RAF in WW2. Has an outstanding collection of aircraft to view (you can't get too close as they are still flying these aircraft today). I've been several times and each time the tour guide has known his stuff. If you are really lucky and time it right you might even... More

Fabulous visit. You must come see this. Check wen site first as sometimes the planes are on tour. Six spitfires some hurricanes and the Lancaster you get a guided tour. And your in touching distance of them too. It's also an active airbase too. So plenty of typhoons about. Great time

We paid a further visit (must be 3-4 times) this time accompanied by mum (90) and sister & brother-in-law, none of whom are aviation enthusiasts. All three thoroughly enjoyed the visit (you can take it as read that we did!) even though we had been warned (and offered a later tour) that four of the planes had not yet returned... More

Interesting visit for those who like aviation history. We were lucky enough to have David Thomas conduct our tour. What a great teller of anicdotes

Had the most wonderful few hours here & it was fantastic value for money. The shop, exhibition area and cafe have free entry but do pay the admission for the guided tour of the hanger (£7 full price but there are concessions). Any planes out of action or not flying that day are in here. Today we saw, amongst others,... More

Did not expect to be able to see the memorial flight just happened to drive by did not realise there was visitors centre. We had a brilliant afternoon there, there is a musem to look round and the you can go on a tour around the hanger with the flight planes stored. The guide was just great and so informative.

We visited last year when the Canadian Lancaster was visiting, although we never got to see the two in the air together, we did see them both in the hangar. A definite bonus was the fact that the BBMF Lancaster was towed out of the hangar (as well as the Canadian one) for an engine test after some work. Although... More

We had a RAF tour guide for over an hr and he was brilliant a real scorce of information and he new everything about all the planes.... More

A highly recommended visit. The staff were all very good, including the lady who runs the, albeit basic, cafe. The guide, Tony, was very knowledgeable and informative. I'm an enthusiast and still learned some new things. A big bonus was seeing a Typhoon going through its aerobatic paces during our visit. Tony broke off the tour so we could go... More

We struggled with what to see in South Lincs. we went on Trip Advisor, and we were very happy with lots of options. The one we settled on was Battle of Britain Memorial Visitors Centre. First of all it was easy to find. Lots of sign posts telling us that we were near Coningsby. When we got there we were... More
