one of the loveliest villages I have ever visited

one of the loveliest villages I have ever visited... very small, but so pitoresque it is really worthwhile a little detour when you are in the neighbourhood.

Recommended by our host to visit. Very pretty village and a contrast to the other beautiful towns and villages we've visited thought lake Garda. Glad we went and also had a delicious meal. The tortiollina is famous in this area, apparently.

A very small, unique and beautiful village in the Mincio river. You need to park the car outside and walk about 200m to the center. the center itself in and around the river is something like 200 meters walk. You see watermills, ancient houses, restaurants and 2 or 3 shops. It is nice to enter the vilage by crossing the... More

Historic and captivating. Beauty is all around you and a village where the locals obviously take great pride in their surroundings and heritage. Not to be missed.

Borghetto is quite delightful former fortress and mill town on the Mincio River. Largely a tourist attraction (don't go on weekends or holidays!) but relatively unspoiled. In the town next to it, tortellini is a speciallity.
