We splurged on a private tour and our guide (Elena) was exceptional. Very pleasant and informative. Beautiful property and well maintained facility. Reserve tasting was very nice and accompanied by some light food/snacks. Would recommend for true wine buffs... Cheers!

The Bodegas Marques de Riscal is a must see winery. The Frank Gehry design is something to see. And, the winery tour and tasting is also a treat. Very well done and a nice overview of their facility.

Excellent tour with a knowledgeable and passionate guide (Carmen) and a well-produced short video of Riscal's winemaking process. The site is an interesting blend of tradition and technology with the Gehry building a brilliant addition.

As it is virtually underneath the Marques de Riscal hotel make sure that you book the tour when you stay there. It is usually free for hotel guests. This is a nice combination of modern technology and a long tradition of winemaking - a recipe for good wine. This is a favourite vinyard but we tried and bought some bottles... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the wonderful winery. Our tour guide was delightful, informative, and easy to understand as her English was quite good. The wines we tasted at the end of the tour were delicious. We thought this was a great value and highly recommend it.

i have been to wineries in a lot of places (USA, Italy,Argentina, Chile, France) and i have to say that some have history, others have technology, others have taste. It is rare to find all of it and i must say that this has it all! Also (unlike other European wineries) they are extremely welcoming and nice. The architecture of... More

Buy up wine at the shop at the end of the tour at huge discounts. Tour took too long with several animated videos about the wine making process.

The place is fabulous, mostly for the architecture point of view. The visit to the wineries is like an automatical tape, well organized and videos info help to understand the whole process, however it lacks a bit the "personal" touch. Enjoyed but not he best bodega on my opinion.
