Description:

We specialise in private, custom wine tours in Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero...

We specialise in private, custom wine tours in Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero in Northern Italy to introduce you not only to the spectacular wines of Piemonte but also the cuisine, culture and history of this beautiful but often neglected part of Italy. Not an obvious choice of destination as little English is spoken but this means fewer tourists and probably cheaper than Toscana (Tuscany). We are expert providers of “local knowledge “and provide an English speaking service to ensure that you never waste a moment of your precious leisure time.

First, let us say that we had a wonderful time and would recommend touring with Robert and Leslie without reservation. We have taken several wine tours in different countries over the past several years and this one was the best. We traveled to Asti by train from Milano where we staying and were met at the train station by Robert.... More

Robert's depth of wine knowledge is impressive but equally enthralling was the breadth of his experience in Italy. We did the full day tour complete with blind taste testing in the evening. I was exhausted by the end of the day but it was one of the best exhausted states to be in. If you're remotely interested in Italian wines... More

I came across Robert and Leslie's site one day which convinced me to book a trip for us to Piemonte. My husband loves Barolo and Barbaresco wines, we both love Italian food - what could be any more perfect! Coordination with Robert and Leslie was a breeze, and on the day of the tour, Robert made sure our trip was... More

This wasn't just wine tasting, it was the total experience. Robert drove us all around the region, showing us the charming towns and natural beauty of the Piedmont while explaining the rich history of wine-making in the region and answering all of our questions. We only had a day but the tour was tailored to our specific interests (wines made... More

My husband and I spent 2 wonderful days with Robert. There were so many varied experiences I don't even know where to start. As a sommelier, he brought us to vineyards and wine bars to experience all the flavors of Piedmont wine. We drank, we learned, we drank more, till we understood. Robert never watches the clock. We ended up... More

My wife and I and another couple toured Langhe with Robert and Leslie just after harvest in October. As other reviews have noted, R&L have deep knowledge about the region and the wines, and "insider" access to wine makers that you might otherwise never become aware of. Superior wines with great value for quality. If you are in Langhe for... More

Four friends and I spent 3 days traveling in the Piemonte area with Leslie, Robert and their adorable dog Cotta. We visited wineries, charming small towns, had a cooking class with Leslie and went in a truffle hunt. They made our time there so interesting, fun and informative. We were there in Sept. and the weather was perfect. Leslie is... More

We started out with a fabulous day touring the Barolo region with Robert. He knows the region and wine well and gives an educational and fun tour. We walked in the vineyards and experienced the harvest up close and personal. We had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. He is also a great photographer and sent us personalized photos... More

You are in for a terrific day with Robert or Leslie. We toured with Robert in October 2015 and had a wonderful and informative day with him punctuated with a lovely lunch stop at their little home/office...appetizers, wine and a full lunch and dessert! Robert is so knowledgeable about wines and we learned a lot about the different wines, Barolo,... More
