Description: We specialise in private, custom wine tours in Barolo, Barbaresco and...
We specialise in private, custom wine tours in Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero in Northern Italy to introduce you not only to the spectacular wines of Piemonte but also the cuisine, culture and history of this beautiful but often neglected part of Italy. Not an obvious choice of destination as little English is spoken but this means fewer tourists and probably cheaper than Toscana (Tuscany). We are expert providers of “local knowledge “and provide an English speaking service to ensure that you never waste a moment of your precious leisure time.

We had such a wonderful day on Travel Langhe’s one-day wine tasting tour. The entire day ran seamlessly, and was organised in such a way to give us an overview at the start (and very helpful notes to read beforehand!) through to tastings and introductions to winemakers who are true artists in their field – passionate about their traditional Barolos... We had the most wonderful private tour with Robert of Travel Langhe. It was the highlight of our trip and set up the rest of our time in Piedmont. Robert gave us so many suggestions on what to see and do and gave us a great background on this area. Robert was the perfect person to lead us around. He's... More

We were referred to Leslie and Robert by Finevino1 and agreed to meet with Leslie at their office in Neive. Findley at Finevino 1 had a conflict and was unavailable. Leslie met us with a young lady who would be the driver. We were taken to a wine museum and met up with Robert and his tour at the first... More

A great day of cooking and wine tasting/tours! Leslie and Roberts knowledge and experience shines through in all they do and their warm personalities made for an amazing day. Thanks for sharing a little piece of your life in Italy, so wonderful. Yes, it will be the story shared with friends and family as the highlight of our trip.

We spent the day from 9:30 - 6:00 including a wonderful lunch, with Robert Alexander (his wife Leslie and adorable Dachshund,Cotta) seeing the extraordinarily beautiful Piemonte countryside. Robert has extensive knowledge of wines from all over the world and is a wonderful photographer, taking us to beautiful spots for photo opportunities. We enjoyed the easy conversation about many topics including... More

My partner and I spent the last Sunday in May with Robert on a tour of the area around Asti We were staying in Torino, but took a quick 30 minute train to Asti where Robert met us in his car. The day was less like a tour than hanging out with an old friend, as Robert has a lay... More

My husband and I absolutely love Robert and Leslie (and their dog, Cotta!). I am actually shocked to see the recent one star review, and can't help but wonder what the context of that situation was. I'd advise anyone to take a one-time only one-star review with a grain of salt. We had such a wonderful time in our two... More

Robert is a wealth of knowledge on Piedmont wines. We learned a great deal as Robert drove us around the beautiful vineyards and little towns. He can tailor the presentation depending upon your knowledge and special interests. Leslie made us a delicious lunch in her cooking school kitchen perched on top of a beautiful hill from which you can see... More

What a disappointment, based on other reviews. We encourage any reader to find another tour ... or simply email a handful of wineries in the region. They all speak English, they are welcoming, and most don't charge. Our issues: * We were not even asked our preferences (Barbaresco vs Barolo) and since we were unwittingly added to a tour that... My wife and I recently traveled to Europe for 12 days. I am a singer and had to perform in Venice on a Saturday and then Monte Carlo on the following Friday. We had a few days to kill in between and love wine tasting. We looked on trip advisor and found incredible reviews on Robert and Leslie in Neive.... More
