If you know the Caribbean beaches, you will certainly feel, you are in one of them! The sea is crystal clear, you see the bottom of the sea with yours fishes. The beach has no access to the city. It is necessary that u take a ferry boat to gain access to paradise!

must have been wonderful in 1500, when cabral reached brazil, but now its jammed with tourists and full of litter. restaurants are expensive, unclean, and food takes ages to come. we had better eat elsewhere.

By far the most beautiful beach I've ever been to. The walk over the hill to it adds to it breathtaking view from above.

Lovely area with great beaches. A short bus ride from Cabo Frio. Definitely check out Forno Beach - beautiful clear blue water.

I went to this beach by a boat and it was really beautiful trip . The boats can't take u to the land so u have to get off the boat and walk in shallow water for less than one minute. It's fun and even funnier to see all the other people arriving to the beach with their stuff, jumping... More

not disapointing but not amazing either. It is a beach with cool to cold water, and with hot days the sand can be unforgivingly hot.

After checking Praia Grande and Prainha's crystal clear waters, I was not impressed by Forno Beach, which has darker water. The advantage of Forno is the fact that you have to hike to get there, and that alone makes it more difficult for tourists that really like to drink and create chaos, to get there. During the summer, this beach... More
