Fantastic step into history

Loved it all. The ambience, the foyer, the sweets, the organ playing during the interval. An experience not to be missed.

My wife and the grandchildren had another wonderful experience at the Kinema. We saw Sponge out of Water. The setting is an authentic 1920/30 experience with modern trimmings.

I came more than 50 miles armed with high expectations to see Cinderella in the larger cinema. My high expectations were thankfully surpassed. The pictures on this site tell you everything you need to know, but experiencing it in the flesh is something else. Follow the advice to not bring sweets and drinks as I did as there is an... More

My fiancé had been saying that we were going here for ages but we finally decided to go and see 50 shades of grey the day after it came out and was very surprised by how much character and memorabilia this place has forget the massive chains this place has it all in abundance with its organ players and ice... We went to the smaller cinema on a Saturday night. Full house in beautiful little cinema. Friendly staff and decent prices for up ice cream etc. if you are in Woodhall you must take in a film here.

Went to see Cinderella with the kids, we were in Kinema 1, which i believe is the original one, lovely old building with lots of fascinating things to look at in the foyer. Lovely, clean toilets. Reasonably priced refreshments. We had no problems with parking, although the car park is a bit uneven. Would definitely visit again.

We went on Saturday night. A step back in time with lots of film memorabilia to look at. we were pleasantly surprised in the interval as the organ came up from floor and the organist played familiar old tunes. A great night out not to be missed. Excellent value. Staff very helpful and friendly.

First visited The Kinema when I was on my honeymoon in 2011; it was wonderful, so quaint and the staff are all very friendly. My husband loved that there was an interval so he could get an ice cream! Returned in December 2012 with our baby boy, to sing along to Christmas carols played on the organ, watch Christmas editions... More
