My husband and I have used Mariner Cruises three times and have never been disappointed. We typically go during Labour Day weekend, on the late afternoon cruise, and the whales always seem to be very active. The staff is wonderful and welcoming and you will be provided with hot chocolate on the return voyage. Even on a hot summer day,... More

Another great trip on the Bay of Fundy with Mariner Cruises. Today we saw a humpback mother and calf, white sided dolphins, harbour porpoise(s), seals, puffins, and many other birds. Great day on the water...thanks More

If you are looking to go whale watching from the Digby area, definitely book your trip with Mariner Cruises. Owner and guide Penny Graham is fantastic. She is very knowledgable about all marine life you will encounter on your trip, and will surely make your experience a memorable one. This was my fourth trip with Mariner Cruises...we take our high... More

It was rather by coincidence that we booked a whale watching cruise on Brier Island at Mariner Cruises. But we certainly did not regret it! Of course the waether conditions were perfect (sunny bright day, almost no waves), but the enthousiasm and knowledge of both the captain and the guide allowed us to see and almost 'touch' a multitude of... This was our third trip with Mariner and we again had a great time on board. Penny is lovely, her knowlege and enthusiasm about the whales is amazing. The captain, Penny´s son, did a great job again. Our boat was followed by other whale watching boats serveral times, even by the zodiacs, because he seemed to be on the right... More

On a recent trip to Nova Scotia, my boyfriend and friends decided to head west to Briar Island for some whale watching. Not knowing what to expect once we got there, we decided to book a complete package with one of the only hotels on the island. Unfortunately once we got there we were told the hotel's boat was in... Brier Island is the place to go for whale watching trips. Mariners uses a relatively small boat with plenty of space at the rail for viewing the whales and birds. There were about 30 people on board and everyone had room for good views. Penny Graham (the business owner) was the hostess on board, giving knowledgeable commentary, and chatting with... More

Another great cruise with Mariner. They managed to find whales even though there were some very foggy periods on our cruise. They were respectful of the whales when the didn't seem to want to be watched. They always have the best hospitality and Penny's enthusiasm and sheer delight in these amazing creatures is infectious. Can't wait to go back again!! More
