Not cheap but this is the only seaplane for hire in this neck of the woods. There are eight seats – we took up six with our party and the “biggest unit” was asked to sit up front with the captain to balance things out! Flight time is around 45 minutes, with you levelling off at around 5000 feet so... More

With husband and son of 12 yrs, it was a great experience. Not sure how far away it would get but saw all around the loch and managed to circle over Rothesay. The Captain was extremely knowledgable and the weather conditions were fabulous with great sunshine but snow on the hills - amazing! Topped off with champagne after the flight... More

We enjoyed a fantastic experience with a flight to Monachyle Mhor Hotel by Loch Voil for a first class lunch. Weather conditions showed Scotland at its best and our Captain's commentary and knowledge further enhanced the experience. It was the first time we had seen flight crew decked out in waders. Absolutely recommend this as a must do experience.

A fantastic experience that should not be missed. The organisation of all the staff was excellent especially the pilot who gave a very detailed and informative commentary of all areas visited. The weather was an added factor in making the experience even more enjoyable. I think Loch Lomond Seaplanes should have a professional DVD made from both sides of the... More

An outstanding experience and one which no trip to Scotland should be without. Set in the beautiful backdrop of Cameron House on the shores of Loch Lomond, the Aircraft picks you up and takes you over the breathtaking scenery across the Western Scottish Isles. The Skipper is massively experienced and gives an informative running commentary throughout the flight. It may... More

This was a birthday gift and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny warm day in March for a flight. The Pilot gave a running commentary and flew in a route to allow both sides to see the views. The scenery was stunning and a lovely way to see Scotland. Everyone was friendly and went out of there... This was a birthday present from last years birthday and well worth waiting for The views were fantastic weather variable showery with sunny spells, to avoid the showers Scott our pilot had to go abit higher. But it was still a brilliant trip. Scott s knowledges of the local landmarks was excellent. All finished off with a cracking landing and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our 40 minute Loch Lomond Discovery flight. Pilot gave an excellent commentary. Our flight took us over the Clyde Estuary and although it wasn't a particularly sunny day we had fantastic views - especially flying low over Rothesay Castle and Mountstuart House. It was really good to see so many places that we know well from a different... More

We booked this trip and then our break afterwards. The weather wasnt brilliant, a little overcast, but the pilot showed us a really good time, flying low and extending the flight. He landed and took off again, which was a lovely experience, and we had a brilliant flight. Would thoroughly recommend this trip and say - Go for it. Dont... More
