I visited in February just before the shutdown. There was only me and a couple on the tour so it was good to be able to ask lots of questions. I found it was a nice tour though strangely we were given Talker storm at the end where I would have thought the Talker 10 would have been more appropiate... More

Great place to visit especially if your a whisky drinker as you can have a taste, while you wait to go on your tour of the Distillery. Very busy place, you need to book tours and there can be a long wait, it would be best to book online to save having to wait. Tour was excellent and the tasting... More

The distillery is located in a very scenic place and the views on the way to the distillery are breathtaking. The tour itself is quite nice and we got to see all the key steps of the process. Whisky tasting and the associated store are good but you can buy the same whisky cheaper elsewhere (including the duty-free in airport)... More

I was a little underwhelmed by this place. Not a bad stop if you're nearby but I wouldn't go out of your way unless you want to buy some scotch. Personally I was looking forward to purchasing some, but even the cheapest one was out of my price range, so I left empty handed.

I like having a look around places like this, usually there have old engineering, being an engineer I get it. The tour is very interesting and informative and think it would also appeal to young people too, there is a charge to enter, i think it;s a revenue generator, but I don't mind that, I like to contribute to an... We reserved the Talisker Tasting tour which is the most expensive. It was a good tour, our guide seemed to have quite a bit of knowledge. We had a flight of five different whiskies, all of which were very good. Although our tour was a little expensive, other lower cost tours are available

Pro's : Very old distillery, whisky tasting session was amazing. Con's: Slightly expensive, pre-booking required. Distillery Tour: We were lucky to get the whisky master as our tour guide. He has lot of information about whisky revolution, whisky making and more. Tasting session conducted by him was rocking session, i got to know so many things about whisky.

The visit of the distillery was great, lovely blond lady speaking! The taste of Talisker Storm was great either!!! Expensive whisky in the shop, but I think it's fine if you want to buy something more than the classic Talisker!

I know I know I know, you want to go to the distillery on the isle of Skye. We had the same idea, but this turned out to be a huge disappointment. The distillery is not unique, they source their grain from the mainland, the peat is not from Skye, the tour is well below average, and the tasting afterwards... More
