Owner description: PECORAMA - one of East Devon's leading visitor attractions, is set on a hillside above the pictureque fishing village of Beer. It is home to the mile-long Beer Heights Light Railway with its fleet of miniature steam locomotives; the famous PECO Model Railway Exhibition featuring superbly detailed layouts in every major gauge and the PECO Millennium Celebration Garden, five stunning Garden "rooms" based on a celestial theme. Children's activity areas feature the wonderful new indoor 'Play Staion' plus an extensive range of outdoor play equipment, whilst grown-ups can try their skill and stamina on the Crazy Golf course and Fitness Trail. There is a varied programme of entertainment throughout the summer season, including children's shows featuring jesters, clowns and magicians performing under cover of our own big top, the PECO Marquee.

Visiting Pecorama on Halloween this year was excellent the train ride is always the highlight with choice of steam and Diesel engines - counting pumpkins, brooms, cats & witches and the tunnel lights the kids loved it, staff are always friendly lots of places to sit outside with fab views of the sea and with the indoor play area something... Great attraction with plenty of things to do for both young (and not so young) to do, we particularly enjoyed our train rides, the model railway exhibition and the crazy golf. Two visits this year alone....once with our grandchildren and once with friends during a Gala weekend. Great value day out!

First large family visit to Pecorama for various train mad members aged 4 -75! Very impressed with whole attraction. Gardens still lovely even in October half term. We all agreed mile long train ride the best we have been on! Food and toilet facilities very good and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. The new soft play area... More

Try afternoon tea in the orient express carriage. The gardens are beautiful. Try the mini train ride. Something for all the family old and young.

Our Grandson always requests a visit to Pecorama whenever we are in Devon. He loves the model railways and the steam train ride. The gardens are beautiful and there is plenty to do there - a soft play, a play area and crazy golf - not to mention live entertainment at given times! We love the Pullman car where you... More

We used to visit here when we were kids some 20 years ago so were keen to return and see how much it had changed. We were a little worried that it was going to be old fashioned but were really impressed with the train ride and the beautiful gardens.

A real suprise, so much more than the model railway layouts i expected. Great and well tended gardens with an outdoor railway that covers all parts. Good cafe and also an old pullman carriage serving good cream teas, a good day out.

A really good place to visit - great layouts and fantastic miniature railway, one of the best. It is a great pity that you cannot buy tickets to the railway separately, you don't always want to visit both parts.

Pecorama is a fun day out for all the family. With three attractions in one, it's great value and there's something for everyone. Whether or not you like model railways, you'll be amazed at the quality and ingenuity of the numerous model layouts in the exhibition hall, where even the most un-train-loving visitor will be pushing buttons to see what...
