Lots of locals picnicking on the lawn and young people visiting for a swim on the warm day we visited. Gorgeous grounds. Quite a steep walk in and out and some steps. Well worth the effort. You need to allow a few hours minimum. I wished we had more time.

Family and kid friendly! Went with a group of friends and it's a nice and easy walk through rainforest to get to the waterfall and rock pool. Bring swimmers to go for a dip in the cooling water at the end of the walk. Or just perch yourself on a rock and watch the waterfall - it's soothing. My friend... More

Nice and easy walk down to the rock pool where the kids enjoyed a swim in the cool water. During the walk you experience rain forest and breathtaking scenery of the valley below.

Even on a rainy Saturday afternoon this was a good place to visit. Just a couple of minutes drive out of Montville, there's plenty of parking at the start of the walks. There are a couple of different tracks to take, 1 was closed due to rock falls, but the picnic creek track we took was still very interesting. Huge... More

We came across the Kondallila Falls by mistake as we thought it was Gardners Falls, but decided to carry on. Five grown up, three children and a baby in a buggy!!! not really ideal for a buggy but we made it. The pool at the bottom was freezing but it did not stop my family from swimming, be careful though... More

Great hiking, beautful falls, perfect bird watching location! Easy walk with little difficulty, saw cuckoos, kookaburras, brush turkeys, fairy wrens, magpies and more. Great educational walk for families to learn about Australian rainforest flora and fauna.

Perhaps would be more fun if the walk to the bottom of falls isn't close but there wasn't enough water to enjoy full scale of waterfall. But on top of waterfall there is pretty cool pond with swing.

My husband and I visited with our 2.5yo son in January. The walk was easy enough for my son to get to the main rock pools by himself as it was mostly downhill. But needed to be carried the rest of the walk and back up the hills and stairs to the car park. The rock pools are lovely, but... More
