It's really too bad they're endangered. They'd make the cutest little pets, but gotta respect nature.

It was a small "rain forest", guides lead you to the places to find the tarsiers; it's however not the attraction it should be

If you like small creatures that look cute and don't do very much this is worth a look. An interesting account of how the creatures arrived at the island is available for those with a little more interest than taking photos.

Nice place, but we somehow expected more from it. Only have seen 3 tarsiers hidden on the trees and the visit lasted 10 minutes... For this we have made all the way from France to Bohol... But it is still a must see!

The museum was closed. The tarsiers were gone. There is a lot of construction going on. Our group found the shop very interesting. So much so that we stayed there for more than an hour! They had an assortment of accessories for ladies. Most were made locally but some were imported. I bought a bag adorned with shells. The shawl... More

This sanctuary gives you the real filling like you are exploring a jungle. It has no cages. This sanctuary is my only reason for visiting this island to see the Tarsier and I didn't regret it at all.

The Botanika showed 6 Tarsiers when we visited, but the guide told us that there were a lot of tarsiers before the earthquake and the hurricane but a lot were lost during the calamity. The guide explained how tarsiers live and explained to us that they used to stay at an enclosed area but were relocated to thier now home... More

The guide who brought us to the woods was accommodating. We saw at least 2 tarsier, one sleeping, the other awake looking at us. We didn't expect much from a place like that. What I do not like is their toilet. They should repair their flash mechanism so people will not depend on pouring water just to flash the toilet.... More
