Quite a busy place - and whilst I surprisingly saw a couple of westerners sun bathing - I think people must have been nearly stepping on them. Lots of dive shops, bars, restaurants, a few spa's and tourist touts selling trips to Tarsier or Chocolate Hills.

Beach nothing special. Very nice beaches about 15 minute motorbike ride West of Alona beach and free, not private beaches

The combination of a variety of hotels at a variety of prices and levels of accommodation, usually calm water, and a superb selection of excellent outdoor restaurants make this an ideal vacation destination. I did not encounter any obtrusive hawkers. Just look the other way if one approaches you. Most visitors are under 40 and most international female visitors wear... More

crowded and qite dirty beach it is realy complicated to find even place for towel. There are many local people selling a trips on a beach it is much better to buy directly from the owner of the boat.

This is supposed to be a beach but it feels like a mall. :( there's barely any shoreline left because the establishments have crouched closer and closer to the water, to their detriment. The only good beachfront left would be at the end, left side facing the water where Alona Tropical Resort & Hennan Resort are. But still there are... More

with restos and bars lined up along the shoreline, one couldn't help but feel like they entered a poor man's boracay. everything was overpriced, with locals selling pearls and offering massages left and right. you won't be able to relax here. the sand amazing, just like all the other beaches in Panglao. I recommend Doljo or the ones farther out... More

As its rainy season here the sea is pretty mucky. The beach is covered in seaweed and rubbish. Some resorts clear the sand but others do not.

One of the nicest beaches in Philippines, with close distance to Chocolate hills. Corals are not close to the shore but plenty of star fish, water very clear.

The place is very nice with white sand and serene environment. Not yet abused like Boracay. You can spend your whole day watching the birds and the sea along the seashore.
