This wonderful white Sand Beach earns bit more maintenance. Can start to Explore the Islands around from that place.

Clear and clean water with white beach and restaurants along the beach just like in Boracay. It's a mini Boracay indeed :)

Great food with very reasonable prices and nice sea view. There are small souvenir shops as well, they are selling very nice handkraft souvenirs with very low prices.

Been to this beach many times. Very good place for divers. I dove with Mr. Diver, and my dive guide was very nice. Gave me some tips for my not-so-good buoyancy :) I will keep going back! Food was great, there are cheap restaurants by the beach that served affordable and with not-tourist rate.

we were looking for a nice beach and we tried this beach in panglao island. it was a mistake. the establishments are so close to the water that there is actually no more beach except on some parts. i feel that they have become so greedy for real estate that they destroyed what is actually the source of their income,... Just visited Alona Beach for the day. Travelled by jeepney from Tagbilaran which was a fun experience and only cost PHP25 each, so very cheap but did take an hour. The beach is nice with plenty of diving places and restaurant options. Lots of people trying to sell tours and other things which got a bit tiresome. The water was... More

Not bad at all for a beach. It is vey wide and great sand. Lots of people and vendors that can be annoying but i guess that makes it famous. Vey shallow and a long way to the reef so not the best for snorkeling. Best to relax in the sand.

I was shown many beautiful pictures of Alona beach prior to the trip, yes, that white sand beach with crystal clear water. When I arrived at the beach, I was disappointed that the beach is covered in seaweed. The water is full of them as well so it's inevitable that you will get them all over you when you swim.... More

Visited the place with friends way back July 2010. White sandy beach, clear waters, starfishes. But be aware that there are seaweeds a few meters away. Anyway, there are people who clean the shore line every morning. Most restaurants are expensive here, but big servings. Not much partying here. All in all, a quieter version of Boracay.
