Just by staying at the sea shore you can simply enjoy the scenery, relax and unwind. It also have activities where you can do boat ride or banana boat ride.

Seeing some truly amazing beaches in the Philippines in 40 days Alona beach just can't be compared with. Gets better at the east end!

If you are thinking of going to Boracay but likes the peace and quite, Alona Beach is perfect. You have white sand that stays cool even under the heat of the sun. You can look and collect sea shells..

During our visit to Bohol, we stayed a couple of nights at the Amorita Resort, which is on a cliff overlooking Alona Beach. My impression of Alona jibes with a lot of other reviewers here who were clearly not impressed with it. The only time you can really swim is in the morning during high tide. As someone who hates... Aug. 12, 2015 This beach is on a deep dive! The same story as what Boracay did. If you take notice the Same is happening all over the Philippines. Koreans are taking over. I'll give it 5 years and most of the business will be owned by Koreans and the crime rates will soar. Another sad story.

they call this little Boracay. Not much resemblance, in my mind, to Boracay's mile long white sand beach. Better spots on the island for beach-going. (I wouldn't swim here) - do go for the variety of restaurants.

I'm making this review not to tarnish the image of Alona beach but to make the LGUs and stakeholders like the resort owners to be more responsible in development and maintenance to make more attracted to tourists, local and foreign. First, my negative impressive on the beach - not clean, not well maintain, the seawall is dilapidated and damaged, no... More

Like a mini Boracay, its true. I would say Anda beach on the other side of Bohol is nicer aesthetically, but 1) much longer to get there, and 2) once you get there, you might feel odd being the only tourist. Alona in a funny way gives you *more* anonymity because you can blend in with the other tourists. Someone... More
