sure it's a sandbar. people have a thing for sandbars. this one is overrated and can easily be skipped in favor of the less popular beaches that are, i dare say, way more enchanting.

The real name of the island is "Puntod Island" or "Isola di Francesco". It's a beautiful island where you can see the picturesque white sand bar amidst the beautiful, pristine ocean. If you walk all the way to the end of the sandbar, you'll be rewarded with several starfish just hanging out at the edge :) The beach is kept... More

Best time to viait the island is during low tide so you'll get to appreaciate the sand bar. It's also the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset while chilling with family and friends. I love how the place is so serene despite it being a private property already. Will definitely come back to this island the next time I visit... More

Was so heavy hearted to leave this island. Practically we lie down and look at the seaweed and coconut trees. A nice and unpolluted beach for conversations **There are local selling abalones too, too bad they do not know how to cook properly, we returned the abalone back to the sea**

Make sure to ask your "bangkero" what time the low tide sets in so you can enjoy the amazing Virgin Island sandbar. :)

Just a few feet away the water became so deep. It's white sand beach, you can swim and if you want to order lunch, they will cook fresh fish, shrimps, other seafood while you wait, very cheap and delicious.
