The loch itself would make the whole thing worthwhile, but on top of that we got a great history of the area, and saw some fantastic wildlife. Would recommend this to anyone in the area.

My Mother and I have had a wonderful relaxing day on this cruise, for my Mums birthday and we were made to feel very special and we had a truly fantastic trip. Jim is so knowledgable and the commentary and photo stops were amazing. I live locally and would recommend this trip to anyone local or on holidays hi is...

This trip was on my bucket list and it came quicker than I had planned. Loch Shiel is one of the true wildernesses left in the UK and apart from parts of the South Shore there are lots of native Scottish trees, primarily oak, but some beautiful Scots Pines. MV Sileas is kitted out for every eventuality and Jim Michie...

After some nice jacket patatoes at Acharacle Hotel a windy trip back up the loch. Wildlife was not abundant today, but we enjoid the trip. Would recommend for anyone who wants
Some quality /...

We really enjoyed our recent cruise on the loch with skipper Jim - this was our second outing on the Sileas and this time we brought our daughter and 6 year old grandson with us. It's a great experience and there's lots to see - fantastic scenery and wildlife. Jim is very knowledgeable about the loch and makes a pleasant...

If you are interested in learning about the history of the area and seeing wonderful wildlife in a stunning setting - this is for you. We were...

We did the return trip from Glenfinnan to Acharacle and back and it was absolutely brilliant. The skipper was friendly and informative, very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the wildlife. This is an amazing chance to see parts of Loch Shiel inaccessible by road, and the scenery is stunning. We were especially lucky to have a really...

Went from Acharacle to Glenfinnan on the boat, then bus back to Acharacle. Views were stunning, and commentary on wildlife, history, and buildings from the boat's skipper was amazingly informative. Book in advance, and if wet or cold wrap up well!
A fantastic trip out on the loch. Really knowledgeable skipper in stunning surroundings. Binoculars and tartan rugs to borrow and an interesting commentary pointing out wildlife including deer and golden eagles. Highly recommended!
A great captain/guide, who knows every inch of the area, gives a really good commentary and knows when to talk and when to leave you just to enjoy the surroundings. The wildlife we saw was spectacular: deer, all kinds of birds and then - a golden eagle. That was the highlight of the trip. The boat is equipped with blankets...
