My family and I had a truly wonderful day on board this super boat. The skipper was charming, helpful and very knowledgeable. The skipper had very thoughtfully provided snacks and drinks and warm travel blankets for slightly cooler weather! He had also perfectly timed the trip so everyone could see the steam train travelling across the Glenfinnan viaduct - a... More

Loch Sheil cruises deserve all the enthusiastic reviews that precede this one. We were on our third such cruise and have always found it to be one of the highlights of a holiday in the west of Scotland. The scenery is spectacular, the boat is just right for such cruises, and the skipper is the perfect host and guide. His... More

We went on Loch Shiel on a rather driech day. We did the Wednesday cruise to Acharacle and back. Great value for money. £25 for a full day out. Jim pointed out animals, birds and Mike Tomkies house as well as many other points of interest such as Eilean Fhinian(?). The boat is lovely and is equipped with a toilet... More

As a day trip from Fort William we made the day cruise on May 15th with a 1 1/4 hour break in Acharacle. Coming by train from FW, we were not sure about getting to the boat in time, so Captain Jim offered to pick us up at Glenfinnen station. He's a very friendly an knowlegeable person and told us... This was a fantastic way to end my holiday in Scotland. I took the 2.5 hour Sunday cruise (on 08/09/13) and the time flew by. An extremely informative commentary from the owner on the geology and history of the loch. A very friendly and personable owner who spotted and pointed out deer, that seemed invisible to the untrained eye. Take... More

Booked the cruise to Gaskan for 15/08/13. The day was rather drizzly but it did not dampen our enjoyment as we sat at the bow with the wind and drizzle blowing in our faces as we took in the fantastic scenery while the history and landscape were described & explained to us with great knowledge by the skipper. The hospitality... More
