Really great, lots of food. Lots of people , fun time. Interesting products to look at. Fun watching your own meal being cooked on a boat sitting in the water.

I absolutely fell in love with amphawas floating market!!! From the views to the smells to the sounds the market screams beauty and authenticity! Great for kids as well as adults stuff is very cheap and you can bargain :) you have to try coconut ice cream! The boat ride was fantastic we got to see millions of fireflies lighting... More

its an evening floating market. it is beautiful, lots of local product and food. around 7 to 9 p.m hire boat for THB 600/boat or THB 65/person to see the fireflies. It takes around 1 hour. just go to the pier to hire the boat, its a fixed price.

Looked this place up on the internet, and reviews said that it's more authentic than the over commercialized Damnoen Floating Market. Apparently, the latter too tourist-oriented and charges tourist prices. It was definitely a good experience at Amphawa! Loved the food, the shopping, and everything was really reasonably priced. I especially loved the salt grilled fish that I had there... More

We arrived in the afternoon, very hot, you can stay there maximum 3 hours except you take massage. You may like this very much if you are fans of Thai snacks. Prefer arrived in the evening, go to see firefly and skip dinner by take snacks and street food. I don't recommended this place if you are 1st time visit... More

I loved this place! Not only it's a great market full of Thai food wonders and other produce but also it has tranquil parts to it when you take a boat ride for just 50B outside of the market. You can see how local people live, visit the temples and spot the wildlife! I would recommend everyone to go to... More

We came here after visiting the other horrible floating market where there were only tourists and the main thing sold are souvenirs, after that disappointment we came here and we enjoyed this place much more, it is an authentic market and quite picturesque. Apart from a market in town, it is true that the floating part of the market is... More

You will go there by boats which contain 6 people at one time but these boats have motors so be careful when you take photos. When you come to the market, you should get off the boat but you will buy your drinks or foods from the sellers in the boats. You can eat "coconut ice cream in a coconut... More

The Amphawa Floating Market is a 2 hour-drive from the center of Bangkok. For most of us who visit Bangkok without renting a car (smart-choice not to by the way), the best way to the Market is to get off at Victory Monument BTS Station and take a van (cost less than 100 Baht one way). The ticket for the... More

Too crowded, filthy dining and unfriendly service. Not a very pleasant visit. But very interesting 'open kitchen' concept with food prepared a-la-minute on boats and delivered by baskets on a long stick. Bring lots of wet wipes and tissues, and electric fly bat
