My friend and I were in Co. Clare in January and were thrilled Tony was available to show us the Burren. Tony's passion for the area, its history and current state, and preserving it for future generations is infectious and his knowledge is vast. Our half-day walk was definitely a highlight of the trip and I would love to explore... More

The first thing I did when I landed in Ireland was take a bus straight to go meet Tony and do this amazing Burren walk. Tony is simply a genius. He is well-versed in the geology, history, culture and more, and has so much to teach. I felt like I really got to know Ireland and the landscape from this,... More

Tony took our family group of 6 ranging from 19 - 67 out for a 2hour introduction to the Burren. This was a terrific experience. Tony is extremely knowledgeable about the landscape and its changes over time. His love of the Burren is contagious. He catered for the various fitness levels of our group and by the end we all... I led a group of 18 travelers to SW Ireland last October with the intention of seeking a deeper connection with spirit of the land. On the second day of our two week journey, we met with Tony who guided us deep into a lesser known area of the Burren which I had never explored before on my previous 5... More

Tony Kirby led our group of 10 on this walk during Christmas week on a clear and beautiful day. A fantastic way to get off the beaten path and out into nature with someone who can explain the whole geological, social and political history of this amazing landscape. Highly recommended!

Tony speaks of the Burren with reverence, poetry, and history that comes alive. He has led this walk for many years and he says he is always learning. As a result, the experience for me had depth, vitality, a certain magic that resonates in me still long after my trip to Ireland. The Burren used to be the bottom of... More

Take a guided tour and you would get more info about what you seeing. The walking tour is upto you what you have opted for like as an hour walk or half day. The walks can take place in the rugged interior of the National Park or along the Burren’s spectacular coastline. The limestone rocks are fabulous for photography.

Tony Kirby is a great tour leader. He is a good seanachie and weaves the Burren's ecology, spiritual and political history, and folklore into a beautiful web of connections. His presentations show that he loves to share the Burren Story. Over the past several years we have gone on a number of his tours and enjoyed them all, even the... More
