My first Koalas in Australia - and some kangaroos. The koalas are more protected here, and hide in the trees. I think Parndana has also times when you can hold a Koala, but we observed them mostly in their gum trees. The kangaroos are more reserved here as well. Nice to visit though.

We had an amazing day at KI Wildlife Park! Sam and Dana were wonderful in teaching us about the wildlife and the experience to see feedings and take part in Koala handling with the staff was absolutely remarkable. Our kids not only got to see amazing wildlife, They were able to learn about many unique animals and talk to handlers... More

I was hesitant to visit this place after reading the negative reviews. We planned to visit Paul's place but he was closed while we were visiting kangaroo island, so it was this or miss out on close interaction with native Australian animals. I'll be the first to acknowledge that holding a koala or feeding a kangaroo or wallaby is not... More

This was a nice place to visit and is under new management with a new name change. Lots of interesting animals and very friendly kangaroo's that you can hand feed. Well worth a look if you are on the island.

We visited the park with our young children (5 and 3) who both had a great time. There were many fantastic photo opportunities, particularly feeding the kangaroos. Pros: - lots of kangaroos for the children to feed. Save lots of food for the ones out the back behind the fence though, they seem to want it more than the ones... More

This park is great for people wanting to see Australia's beautiful wildlife up close and personal. The young couple who took over the park less than a year ago are lovely. I highly recommend going to the Koala Interaction Sessions which are free and you can go in with the koalas and pat them. Also for $10 per person you... More

Lovely young couple running a clean and well cared for animal environment! Able to feed the roos and wallabies, the galahs say hello while the peacocks strut around the yard...kids loved it and so did we! Better than Paul's Place which doesn't let in anyone under 18.

Parndana Wildlife Park was very pleasant. It is well designed for both the animals and visitors. The staff and owners were very kind and informative. They obviously very much care for their animals. It was great fun to feed the kangaroo, hold both a baby koala and wallaby, and walk through the aviary. You can spend as much time as... More
