The Santuario consists of two attractions: the nearby properly maintained walking paths and the brunch-restaurant. We enjoyed both and it took nearly three hours (without a relaxation break at a natural pool). For the walk you need stable footwear and an insect repellent (buy one in Brazil, the European ones do not work properly). No big attractions await you but... More

Excellent brunch, with a huge variety of home made foods, jellies and breads. The natural pool and small waterfall are fine, but good to relax and chill out. The owner is nice and very supportive.

Lovely place - enjoyed the brunch and the walk very much and LOVED that we could take our dog. She had a great time too. The owners were fun to chat with and the jams and other foods they sell are yummy. This was our favorite stop on our trip to Piri.

The owners are perfect hosts. The homemade food is delicious. There is a beautiful walk (around 1 hour) through the woods where you can bathe in a stream. Worth going to this fantastic place.

Loved the nature trail, it was perfect for my family (with two young kids). After the short hike, we stayed for brunch....and we were treated like royalty! 8 types of homemade bread, omelets, ham, 12 different types of spread and homemade garnishes, locally made yogurt! and fresh squeezed juices! they kept serving and we told them we're full :)

If Michelin Stars should exist in Brazil, this restaurant earns 5 stars. 1. Personal attention 2. Surprising delicious food 3. Eco food 4. Eco park (hummingbird butterflies) 5. "A walking tree branch" (insect) in the kitshen.

I was afraid this brunch was overrated - and being a short drive from city center (about 30 min) and priced at R$ 38 I didn't want to be disappointed. But the food is really awesome. You will get an assortment of breads (white, whole wheat and honey), over 20 jams, sliced stewed beef, two juice jars, white (Minas) cheese,... More

We were attending a conference in Pirenopolis and went to Vagafogo to get away for an afternoon. Although the bird life there was not as plentiful as I had hoped, we did get to see plenty of nunbirds, motmots and manakins and heard so many tinamous and trogons. The trail around there is fairly short and an easy walk, even... More
