Cheezy the introduction guide was great. The experience for a novice is excellent. This is not truly abseiling due to the fact that you are simply lowered down on a line by the guides for at least a quarter of the way down where the mountain wall cuts away where you dangle until you reach the bottom. A disappointment for... More

Great fun guys to abseil with. All modern & good equipment, really hairy leaning back off the mountain but with crowds watching you can't chicken out! There's a "surprise". After about 15 metres which makes it even more worthwhile! Give the guys your cameras & they will take pics as you go down and will take some of their own... More

So much fun! (and safe) These guys are great! They got the lady in front of us down to the bottom even though she was in fits of tears, but they persuaded her to do it. We were more cocky so they cracked all the jokes with us instead. A great experience! If you go up Table Mountain then you... More

There was a group of 7 of us, one of which was 67 and another who had never abseiled before. The guys who run the event really know their stuff and know how to help the nervous ones. Please note: 1) You do have to walk back up the mountain, so (a) Wear a good pair of shoes / trainers... More

The Abseil Africa team was fun and professional, we never felt like we were in danger. The view was breathtaking and the rush of adrenalin was the highlight of our day. If you're on Table Mountain you HAVE TO DO IT!! And the hike back up is beautiful.

The rush of adrenalin and terror that rushes through your body with that first step over the cliff is quite a feeling. Gaining confidence then to do jumps and enjoy the views while dangling from a rope is certainly a once in a lifetime experience for me. Really friendly and efficient staff, even though I was frightened, I always felt... More

Oh my god! It was such an awesome experience!! The guide on the way up was friendly, fun and caring - he made sure that both of us climbing were doing alright and we went at our speed. Once at the top, all the team were super friendly and fun, and the guy that lowered me down on the abseil... More

Awesome experience! My boyfriend thought it was a lil short for the experience being just the one abseil but still super awesome. Incredible view and nice abseil. Being new to it I found it super scary bur loved it. We also adored the hike back up afterwards. Beautiful and saw a sun bird. We would say do the hike up.... More

Two of the people in my group decided to give this a try and they enjoyed the view and wished they could do it again, now that they had the hang of it. The equipment looked well maintained and in good order. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. It seemed a bit expensive for me, but not everyone is on... More

Abseiling down table mountain was just the icing on the cake. I climbed up and explored the top for a little before finding abseil africa. It was a blast. Here's what I didn't understand leading up to it. i thought you had to book through the company before you went. You don't! You only do that if you want a... More
