This was such an incredible experience. Professional and safe, the abseil is reported the highest commercial abseil in the world at some 112m. There is a surprise halfway down that is unforgettable but the whole time you get a great view to the West. You can pre organise or just arrive at the top of the Table Mountain and organise... More

We did this after hiking the backside of table mountain and it was the perfect way to end the day. The guides were fun and made sure we had a good time but were very safe and reassuring. It was the experience if a lifetime and the best view if Cape Town imaginable.

Amazing spot and views from the top. The descend was completely controlled by the guides on top unfortunately so if you have done any repelling before you fell cheated out of your $$. The actual abseil is less than 50% and the remaining is a fall off the wall controlled again by the guides. Would recommend the walks to and... More

At least in late May that is! I spoke with the folks from abseil Africa many many times prior to our trip in late may and into kid June. Communication was excellent. Leo, I so wish we could have met. I loved the banter back an forth. I am a complete noob when it comes to abseil. With wife has... More

We had had a beautiful day on table mountain, so we took advantage and abseiled! The crew was very funny and concerned for your safety. They were very patient and helped encourage you if you were scared. The experience itself was scary and exhilarating! You have to do it if you get a chance. They only operate when the weather... If you are going to Table Mountain for the first time this is a must due. please book in advance and this activity is very dependent on weather conditions. I had to reschedule 3 times before i went due to weather conditions. Keep in mind there will be a 45 min hike up, be hydrated for it and make sure... More

An amazing experience, not to be missed Staff where excellent , fantastic views I'd suggest doing just before 12, to avoid having to do the 30 min trek back up to the top in the heat . This also leaves plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the table top

We booked our abseil through Gavin Pfister at Extreme Scene who I'd highly recommend. The trip was a present for my husband for his 30th birthday from family so we booked fairly early into our trip. We were not disappointed. My husband had abseiled before I had not. I was totally petrified literally crying at the top for fear of... More

I really enjoyed it, was a great thrill, but I found it too expensive. It's great, but lasts only about 5 minutes.

We did this with our 10 & 12 yr old kids who were brilliant. It is very scary at the top but well worth the adrenalin rush. The views are stunning just try not to look down too much. I had read lots of reviews about the walk back up being worse than the abseil, not true! The walk back... More
