This is a great nature reserve combining the seashore and all its treasures with open land where animals like kudu and zebra can be seen . It is home to the Cape Point lighthouse which is worth the climb up the promontory. There is also the Two Oceans restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating offering sweeping views of False Bay.... We hired a car and drive down from Cape Town to this beautiful area. Well worth it; stunning scenery and views. If you're able be sure to climb the hill at the southern-most point -stunning.

The view from the restaurant with a good coffee in hand makes it absolute worth your while. Stunning ocean views and the occasional presence of baboons makes it even more interesting. A must see when in Cape Town!

One visiting South Africa has to go to the southern most point of the entire continent and this is it! While a bit start, the ocean crashes and there are seals on the rocks, numerous birds and even ostrich can be seen. It's quite windy but very scenic and worth the effort getting there.

We arrived about 10:00AM. Took cable car to top. Took pictures and walked down good cement trail to bottom. Saw Ostrich and Elands on way down as well as some exotic birds. Had lunch at Two Oceans Restaurant there. Excellent.

This was my first trip to a lighthouse and it was the best experience, my boyfriend and I enjoyed the drive to get there as we were staying in Cape Town which was a long drive. We especially enjoyed the scenic views along the way and climbing the stairs to get to the lighthouse. At the top the view and... More

We hired a private driver to take us from Cape Town; so much better than a tour bus. We stopped along the way to purchase native crafts and see the ostrich farms. Had a group of baboons jump on our car and look in at us. Once at our destination we walked all around and the views were stunning. The... More

This was part of a day tour (see add'tl reviews for specific company) package in a series of stops that was scheduled for the afternoon. We started early in the morning and this was one of the places we went first. We made a great decision as the tour buses with big crowds were a short distance behind us. The... More
