We visited the Cape of Good Hope on a glorious Sunday - there was a half hour car-queue outside the entrance gate which made us think of the efficiency of the staff. Along the 15km road to the Cape we did not see any animals at all, maybe they all did their Sunday siesta? At the bottom of the path... More

I visited the Cape of Good Hope for the first time with a Friend from Germany and it was amazing! As a Capetonian we are blessed with many beautiful landscapes and such but there is something special about this place. there are also quite a few things to do.

Near the end of the drive to the Cape of Good Hope you are close to the ocean and are able to see several beautiful views of the waves rolling into the rocky shore. The road is very close to the ocean, so no long distance lens in needed to capture it. The Baboons are very near the cars and... More

I guess it in many ways is a historical place to visit as part of the peninsular tour! if you are imaginative enough you can actually make out where the Atlantic and the Indian ocean meet.

This was my second visit to Cape of Good Hope and a much more pleasant one than the last. We didn't see any Baboons or birds bothering us as in the past. There are a couple ways to view the area. Going to right you overlook the water and beach with a few cutouts to help with photos. Going to... More

Really nice view and amazing nature. Please be really careful with baboons, they are really dangerous and attracted from food, if you don't lock your car they are able to open the doors.

If you are in Cape Town, do it! We had a hired car, so did the trip on the way to Stellenbosch. Once you know that this is NOT the most southerly point of Africa, nor where the two oceans meet, it is still a good place to take photos.

Took a one day tour to go to the Cape and it was beautiful and exciting. Took the traditional tourist photo next to the sign but it really is special to be there

Beautiful view point over the ocean and naturally a great place to have your photograph taken! Also close to Cape Point.

The end if Africa! What more can I say. Once in a lifetime experience. Go there to see the ocean waves chopping through the sea. The scenery is amazing and you will want dozens of photos. A photographers paradise.
