A photo here is a must, along with the rest of the crowds, but there is a beautiful hike along the cliffs that had stunning views and no crowds.

Really good way to spend a day out of capetown. The journey is about an hour/hour and a half each way and lots to stop and see on the way to the lighthouse at the bottom, including ostriches and baboons, and hidden coves...
Stunning scenery, lovely place to walk. Loved it! We had amazing weather which made a difference but it is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been

Great day trip from Cape Town-even saw ostriches in the wild. Views were amazing and entire trip a treat. Had lovely lunch at 2 Ocean restaurant.

There seems to be a huge misunderstanding between Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point.
The Cape Point is the nice place where you can hike up (or take the super expensive tourist trap cog railway) and were you can see Cape Point Lighthouse. Also, when you walk further down to the former lighthouse at the end of the spit...
