This winery is beautiful- it has a small museum to walk through by yourself and then an extensive tour of where they make the wine. On the day we were visiting, the power went out during our tour of the bottling section sadly- looked to be a nice sized bottling facilit. The power can back on during the wine tasting,... More

Great tour of a larger scale winery in Maipu. Tasted a red and a champagne, had a view of the end to end process of making the wine

We decided to visit Maipu by ourselves taking a train from Mendoza which saved us a Lot of money (7.50 pesos)'. Tour was free and quite informative (30 min long), at the end we tasted 2 wines: savinion blanc and malbec, was good but I drunk better ones. Overall a very positive experience and recommend to visit it on an... More

One of the larger wineries in the area; beautiful grounds and impressive tour. We had lunch in the restaurant before the tour. The food was simple, but very tasty. Each course was accompanied by a glass of wine; unfortunately, it was only one variety, so we didn't get a chance to do any food pairings. It would've been great to... More

We had a lovely tour and wine tasting here. The tour was interesting and informative and was free. It had more information than some other tours for which we had to pay.

Bodega Lopez is perhaps the easiest Bodega to travel to from Mendoza Centro. A quick train ride to the final stop Guiterrez and you will see a small sign directing you to the bodega. Many of the Bodegas require a reservation. We were fortunate that Bodega Lopez accepted and welcome us into their lovely winery. The friendly hostess even allowed... More

We decided not to pay for a tour and to visit a winery by ourselves. This winery is close walk to the tram station. Upon arrival we paid for a wine tasting. $150 pesos ( $15 AUD ) for two people to try three wines with a small cheese board each. We even had our own private guide to talk... More

This is a place that produce wine in a very, very large scale. It is interesting to see the process. However, it is simple, very systematic. If you have been in a large wineries in California like Mondavi, this is a similar scale, but Mondavi is nicer setting, and more interesting.

Nice old bodega specialized in sweet wines. Tour by a very cute girl :) The tour just takes 15 minutes.

This tour was very interesting. Kept us moving and got to see the history of the place. The place itself was beautiful and the wine was good. I just wish we got to sample more wines.
