I can't say enough about the operation, Frontier Divers, run by Alvin Douglas ("Big Dougie"). I took the 4 dive package. Friendly, forward and the best listener, Big Dougie converted my interests in a short meeting (and earlier international call to a staff) into one of my most exciting recent outings. Our outings started with a basic dive, then a... More

We dived with Frontier divers for just one day, doing the MV Maverick wreck, an excellent wreck of around 20-30 metre depth depending where you are on it. Lots of fish life and a great dive. The 5* rating comes though because of how 'Big Dougie' looked after us, he had brand new kit waiting, he was friendly and accommodating... More

A great dive shop. Very caring for beginners and tried to make it an excellent experience for all. Big Dougie just inspired you with confidence and had a great knowledge of the best dive sites for any particular day. Without doubt, the highlight of out trip to Tobago. Can't wait to go back.

Kim was my dive instructor and for my first dive I was very nervous. She practically held my hand and helped me through the entire experience past all my fears. It was truly an amazing experience which I am glad I did. (I am not a good swimmer and I WAS terrified of deep water. This is definitely something I... More

We just spent two weeks in Tobago staying at Sandy Point Beach Club and did 10 dives with Frontier Divers, their onsite dive shop. We were very happy with their service. The dives were excellent, the equipment was in good shape, and the knowledge of the people was excellent. They’ve very laid-back but professional. I have been diving since 1976... More

I cannot say enough about our time with Big Dougie and Kyle from Frontier Divers. World Class dive operation. BIg Dougie did a refresher dive for myself and my newly certified boyfriend. We immediately felt comfortable and safe back under the water. He has such an easy, professional style you immediately feel like you are part of the family. The... More

This was my very first experience diving. Dougie is such a great guy! He put any doubts I may have at rest. Very friendly and excellent at explaining everything so you are completely comfortable. We dived at Store Bay which was fabulous. I would go back with this dive shop again and fully recommend it.

The dive sites around Tobago - from both the Atlantic and the Caribbean sides of the island offer world-class diving and 'Big Dougie' (you'll see why) - and his crew offer Tobago style diving (chilled attitude, warm hearts). Don't let the laid-back approach fool you - these guys are professionals. The boats and equipment may not be the classiest in... More

When we were in Tobago we looked on tripadvisor for comments on local dive guides and came across some favorable reviews of Alvin Douglas (aka "Big Dougie") who owns Frontier Divers. We decided to book a single dive trip with Big Dougie and his crew and ended up diving for the rest of our stay in Tobago with him. These... More

I accompanied my husband and sister while they did their dive courses with Frontier Divers and was also able to do one fun dive. Alvin Douglas and his captain Kyle are very friendly and helpful. Dives were done both from the shore at Storebay, which is a very close dive shop and from their boat. It is useful to take... More
