Arranged a trip via the canoe man with three friends, for a bushcraft and canoeing adventure over two days, one night. What a fantastic experience. Thanks to Monkey and the team, everything was well organised and we had a fantastic experience enjoying the Norfolk country side, canoeing in areas you wouldn't normally see, as well as learning many aspects of... A great day with Tony Leech who is a knowlegable and entertaining fungi expert The group then went on a field trip to some local woods and then spent the afternoon attempting identification. Lots of a advice from Tony including how to identity some of the edible varieties.

I bought train journey from Wroxham to Buxton on the Bure Valley railway and kayak back for my husbands 66th birthday treat. In hindsight I should have kayaked just to Coltishall. After tacking from bank to bank for the first mile or so we got the hang of the steering. We stopped at Coltishall pub by the river, can't remember... More

Excellent day, starting with the minibus trip from Wroxham to Buxton. Lovely quiet paddle allowing us to see 9 kingfishers, a hobby, an osprey, lots of herons and other birds. The best bit was watching a grass snake swim across the river just above Wroxham.

Never having canoed before, we opted for the short trip from Buxton to Coltishall. After 5 minutes of wussy shrieking whilst we drifted around in circles in the middle of the River Bure we got the knack of paddling and began to enjoy ourselves. The weather was perfect and the experience was very tranquil. Saw swans and a cormorant. We... More

Me and a friend booked a four night 4 day canoe trip. I would give this tour company 5/5 if it weren't for two (very easily fixable) things. 1. Even though there are 4 full time employed staff and lots of other part timers, they are so so un-organised. We planned our trip months in advance and paid over £700... More

I fulfilled a very long-held desire to kayak last week. I chose the Canoe Man's trip on the creeks at Brancaster Staithe. Along with another patron I had an introductory session before four others joined us for a three hour trip up the creeks. Possibly a bit ambitious for first time but I did it and it was amazing. Mark,... More

Our large stag party weekend consisted of a canoe trail along the river Bure combined with an overnight stay in the woods for campfire food, ale and bush-craft instruction. What could have been a recipe for disaster was well organised and administered by the 'Canoe Man' team and was enjoyed by all; I would happily do it all again.

We booked a whole day "tour" whereby we cycled from Wroxham to Buxton alongside the Bure Valley Steam railway line, and then cycled back. Although we were given 2 hours for the cycling, it took us (a experienced cyclists) about 45 minutes, so we did some exploring before meeting the "canoe man" to swap bikes for a 2 person kayak...
