We visited Okinawa for 3 weeks and saw pretty much everything -- many gusuku, memorials, abandoned caves, museums, the aquarium, etc. We did Okinawa World at the end after we had run out of "real" things to do, thinking this was just a tourist trap. But, it was great! The kids absolutely loved the cave and the reptiles and the... More

This is a great little snapshot of Okinawa culture, offerings, and has an incredible cave that feels like an air conditioned breath of cool air on a hot day! More

Wow, unbelievable! Definitely a must see/do while on Okinawa. Make sure to set aside enough time to do everything.....you can easily spend a whole day here. Arrive when they open though and beat the crowds! Tour the massive underground caves, watch the Taiko drummers show, have your photo taken with an albino python and see the snake museum. A great... The main attraction, for me, is the Gyokusendo Cave. It's a fantastic place to go on a hot summer day because of the cool temperatures inside. Another bonus is the excellent opportunity to take colorful cave photos, even on a rainy day. The interior is well lighted and safe for walking however, in some spots the walkways can get slippery.... More

Okinawa World has several attractions such as Kingdom Village, the Gyukusendo Caves and Habu Centre reptile park. There are several types of tickets which gives you access to two out of three attractions, or you can buy the ironically named Free Pass to all three. Kingdom Village was a rather disappointing experience, clearly designed to move tourists through several souvenir... More

The caves are really nice with easy walkways. The park has a ton of traditional Okinawan performances and crafts to enjoy. More

We come here for a visit of the stalactites cave. It takes almost an hour to walk through the cave.(more like a tunnel though). The other places of this amusement park including different kind of hand craft shops and DIY workshops. Very educational place for kids. More

Okinawa World was the place to go to see all things "Okinawan". There are many shops where you can purchase "local" pottery, glass, etc. It's a good way to see alot in a short amount of time without travelling all around the island. There was even a free show with beautiful music, dancing and colorful costumes! More
