A great view into Okinawan tradition and culture! Worth the drive, especially for the cave and fruit orchards. The glass blowing was also really cool, and they have a big glass store with lots of gift ideas (as long as you can get it home in one piece!). There is tons of exhibits about a lot of elements of their... More

We saw the Elsa show and then we toured the cave and after the cave you end up walking through Okinawa World. We did not visit the snakes area. The show was good even though we understood none of it. But, that is our fault for not knowing Japanese! The cave was fun to walk through. It was totally different... More

I visited Okinawa World for the cave.We loved it! The habu show was not outstanding nor the folk dance performance. We enjoyed the shisa dance and shamisen performance the most. Glass studio was interesting to see but very very expensive. Tropical orchard was closed on some parts. We got a whole coconut for 1000¥and a glass of sugar cane juice... More

I was expecting to see people doing their local trades but instwad it was just people trying to sell you their stuff. I wanted to participate in the demos but there weren't any. I wouldn't pay to shop. That is what it felt like.

Wear comfortable shoes with traction for safety. Take time to watch the snakes show, it's in Japanese but you Stoll get a good show and there are English handouts. The caves are some of the best I've seen

I do not speak or read Japanese and this place is definitely geared toward Japanese tourist but there were some English signs, the staff were very helpful, and we had a fun time. I would advise three things here, the cave, the snake show, and the food buffet. The cave is very well marked with good walk ways and too... More

Joined the local day tour and one of the sightseeing spots is Culture Kingdom Oyokusendo (stalactite cave), which has been formed over 300k years ago. With the lighting effect, especially in some highlighted areas, it takes around an hour to finish the whole journey if you enjoy the amazing scenery inside the cave as you will be busy to take... I have been to Okinawa a number of times and have never really visited any of the spots in the southern part. This time we swapped and stayed mainly down south. We were initially attracted by the limestone cave in the Okinawa World but when we got there we found it had more than just that. The Okinawa World was... More

We had to be impressed by the layout of what is actually a very touristy theme park. Immediately after entry you walk down and through 850 meters of underground caves. You emerge (only in Japan) via an escalator into a ... shopping/ restaurant area. Next into a traditional Okinawa craft area from which you emerge into a ... shopping/restaurant area.... More
